    Diabetes for dummies

    Diabetes for dummies this is a great book to begin with and look for the newest versions says things change all the time. And don't spend more than $20 on this. But it is the one but that includes everything that you need to know from counting labels and points to checking your sugar and how diabetes works. I think this is a fabulous book and there are others including those put up by the diabetes Association so it is probably Best to start with one of these but talk to your dietitian or your doctor and then you can start reading up because it is so important to have your diabetes under control that it is probably more important than anything else in this world for your health and for those you love

    "Dummies" is the answer. Good shopping experience.

    I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I went looking for a good reference and when I saw the Diabetes for Dummies it was a "no brainer". I have several of the Dummies books and like the index which allows you to go right to a specific piece of information. This is a 2005 Edition and I have some questions about the changes in diet that the author recommended. I went back to my doctor with those.

    Diabetes

    I could wrap my head around the idea of having diabetes. But after reading this book, I understand what I was doing wrong, and corrected it.

    Well written and simplified for the average joe!

    I think the author tried to be as clear and simple as possible when describing all the complications that can go wrong with diabetes. I am a student nurse myself and this helped further my understanding on diabetes! I think even if I didn't know the medical terminology, I still would of understood what the author was saying! I highly recommond this book!

    Diabetes for Dummies

    As someone who was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, I can tell you that this book has helped me alot. It tells you what diabetes is in words and terms that the average person can understand. It also gives you plenty of tips for managing diabetes. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is a diabetic or has a family member who is one.
