Title is perfect for this book.
I bought this book because it is referred to in many of the Harry Potter books and it sounded like a lot of fun. It is!! Any J.K. Rowling fan will truly enjoy reading about these incredible beasts. The students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry have learned about these creatures in their studies and occasionally had to deal with some of them on a personal level. Ms. Rowling has a wondrous imagination and through her descriptions brings these animals to life as we read about them. I would definitely recommend this book to Harry Potter fans, of all ages. Very nice book!
This is a pretty funny book. This version of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them belongs to Harry Potter when he was at school. I think it's sort of the same as the newer versions, except this one has writing in it by Harry, Ron, and even Hermione! The actual part of the book tells about all magical creatures as seen by the writer, Newt Scamander (J. K. Rowling)! Very good book, great for all Potter fans! Also J. K. Worth finding the 1st Edition
I wanted the newer fantastic beasts (screen play) and this book had come up. I had a hard time deciding which one to get. Turns out both would be good. This particular fantastic beasts is more of an encyclopedia and not a story like the other. It lists the name of all kinds of beasts and then has as large paragraph with all kinds of information about that beast. What makes the 1st edition the best is Harry Potters commentary on several beasts. It has it In his handwriting making it like it was his diary on beasts of the wizarding world.
