    Simple story, catchy words, cute pictures :)

    I love this book! Although I have grade school children who would eventually add this to their collection, I bought it for my husband on our 1 year wedding anniversary. I thought the signifigance of the lil rolling cirle finally finding it's "missing piece" would be adorable. When I read the book aloud to him, I realized in the end the circle LEAVES the missing piece and rolls away! I guess when I read it as a child I didn't recall the signifigance. Although, the moral of the story may be that you can be yourself and go on adventures without depending on another "part"....we all had a good laugh and now the book will forever be treasured as an "oops" gift in the family. Shel Silverstein is forever one of my favorite authors, and it's a must have for any book collection.

    Teaches children an important life lesson.

    I love Shel Silverstein's books. He was a genius who captured life's experiences in what appear, at first glance, to be simple children's stories. The Missing Piece is a story about a circle with a missing piece. The circle seeks out it's missing piece and tries on a few to find they do not fit. Along the way, the circle discovers it's enjoys many things about the world with or without it's missing piece. This simple story has many laughs but teaches a valuable lesson to our children.

    Worth it!

    This has always been one of my favorite books as a kid. As soon as I got it in the mail and I opened the envelope I was so happy! It was in absolutely perfect condition which made it even better. Thank you!

    Very good condition. I really recommend this book its beautiful story that reminds of ups and downs of real life. Simple writing and cute illustration. I simply love it
