    Special Gift for Longtime Girlfriend

    I bought this as a special gift for my longtime GF; we have been friends since 1964, and are both turning 60 this August. I had just introduced her to Susan Branch because I had framed a calendar page from her "Heart of the Home" calendar on my wall, which she admired. All Susan Branch books are little works of art, with beautifully illustrated watercolors and titles; they are replete with recipes, photographs, brief sketches, and sprinkled with interesting quotes, all done in her unique calligraphic style. This one has a story about the author and her friend sneaking into the Beatles' hotel in the early '60s. My friend idolizes George Harrison to this day, so this added a special touch for her.     As a serious Susan Branch fan.....this book is top drawer. I give this "Girl Friends" book to only my special friends. Paisley Pincushion likes Susan Branches "look" and spin on life. She is my hero.....I love her graphics, her art. Her website is to die for. Need to share some light moments with a special friend of yours.....get her this book, some tea...a precious cup. She will love your kindness. A great read of Susans home life and her growing up time with her girl friends. The Paisley Pincushion Co. Inc. loves this book!

    Very special books in content, artwork and LOVE!!

    I absolutely love this book!I even bought one for friend of mine and I plan on buying another one for a 2nd friend!! I love Susan Branch books! They are full of recipes that are great, pictures that I love and meaningful quotes!! She has great talent and style! I am buying more of her books too!!
