    Timeless, Re-read occasionally for fresh insight!

    Readers know from the outset Corrie Ten Boom survived to help write the book but it’s such an intriguing journey to get there. The authors include numerous jewels along the way, stories that stick with the reader long after the book is back on the shelf: the train ticket held by her father until the perfect time, the test of faith by not lying about family hiding under the kitchen table, the fleas having a purpose, the heartbreak of the love of her life marrying someone else, rebuilding the radio while in prison, the astounding respect and love for her father and sister while incarcerated. Each chapter utilizes powerful imagery to flesh out an application of Eternal Truth ready for internalizing.     Fantastic Insirational book

    I love Corrie Ten Boom. She is a great testimony to the Christian faith. Have read this book at least twenty times as I bought my first book several years ago and was completely worn out. Was so happy to find this new one at such a great value. I plan to read it twenty more times.It makes me much more grateful for what I have in this country.

    Classic book

    I purchased this book for my 8th grader to fulfill required summer reading. I had also read the book as a young person. It is of interest to all who want to understand history, particularly WWII, and the short- and long-term effects of socialism on the group targeted for persecution, as well as those who help the persecuted. It is a serious topic, written honestly, and with a focus on how Christian love can help to overcome extreme difficulties in our lives.

    What a Story!

    Do you enjoy history? Do you relish a suspenseful plot? Are you blessed by the recounting of God's faithfulness to others? If you answered yes to any of these questions, "The Hiding Place" just might be the perfect book for you. Corrie ten Boom and her family hid Jews in their home during World War II until the Germans caught them at it. This Corrie's account of risking her life to save those of others, of being found out, of learning to forgive. Corrie and her sister were taken to a concentration camp where they were both treated mercilessly. More important than that, however, is how they coped with it throught he grace of God.     Exceptional piece of history

    I wanted to reread this old book. I was so glad to find it on eBay. Great value. As I read it, my granddaughters are asking about it. So glad to spark their interest in true history. They want to read it along with my copy of Anne Frank’s Diary.
