It’s OEM and it’s Subaru what more is there to say. Perfect fit and easy install. Nice for hauling cargo and not damaging the seats. The price and shipping were pretty awesome too.

Acceptable if Your Car Needs It
I wanted these protectors because I planned to be carrying wood around in my trunk. I did it once before having these and it didn't work out so great - lots of shavings in the carpet. Installation was a breeze. There's a bit of prying of old parts and installing new body pins. When prying out the old ones you have to be careful not to bend the metal that makes up the frame of the seat body. There are only 6 body pins holding this in place and realistically Subaru should've designed the seat back itself to have more in place. Because of that it feels a bit loose. Subaru added Velcro to the back of the protectors to help them grip the carpet better. It works where present but they should have added a few more patches to help it hold. However, this has yet to work properly for me - I always have to push my hand in the way to keep the fold down rather than up. All that said, I bought these and will keep them in my car. They will at least give it that rugged look even if using them adds a little effort. It does at least do the job of protecting the carpeted seat back.

Protects suitably the back of the rear seats. Following the instructions, installation is easy. But for an European XV/Crosstrek exists a small problem: On the back of the right half of the European back seat is only one cargo mounting bracket, whereas on the Amercican right back seat are two ones. I solved the problem by cutting a strip from an old footwell protection and attaching it to the back of the rear seat protector on the unnecessary aperture. Now that aperture is closed and the rear seat is protected at this point as well.Protects suitably the back of the rear seats. Following the instructions, installation is easy. Buy From Dealership
They come rolled up and mine happened to have some folding right in the area where the edge would esthetically look pleasing as it matches up to the rear floor cover. It has been a month and even in the heat we have had they never did relax where they look flush when seats are laid down. They are also pretty much just plastic so everything you put on it will slide around. Including your pets.

perfect fit easy installation
fits perfectly not something you can easily make yourself. Comes with all necessary pins to attach it to the seat back. Good protection of seat backs when loading large items such as a bicycle.

Makes cleaning a lot easier
This makes cleaning up the back of the seats a breeze. Instead of dirt, leaves, grass, etc betting caught it thr carpet of the back of the seat ot easily wipes put of gets vacuumed up. Highly recommend if you travel with pets and/or are in the outdoors a lot and have gear in the back quite often.
