Not Impressed
Purchased this to help me saw 8 cords of full length logs to the same size. This attachment was used to score / mark the logs and was then removed before cutting them. Sadly, it took very little to bump this attachment off the chainsaw bar multiple times in the first hour. It soon ended up buried so deep in the log pile that I was unable to find it. If you have 2 or 3 nice straight logs this may be a good option for you. For 'real' use you'd do better with a 16" stick, your saw bar or spraypaint unless you enjoy frequently hunting around for this on the ground.Purchased this to help me saw 8 cords of full length logs to the same size. A Absolute Must Have
Kinda amazing how something so simple makes cutting firewood that much easier. I have been able to stack my facecord better, making more room for more wood. My people who get firewood from me seem pretty happy that the wood is all the same length making their piles nicer and no guessing work as to what can fit in their stove. Stick it on make your length notch cuts, take off and stick to something metal out of the way or hang from your belt, That easy!Kinda amazing how something so simple makes cutting firewood that much easier. Fantastic Woodcutter helper
This is fantastic, i used the woodcutters 16' helper for the first time today and it made cutting wood so much faster. Before i had to measure every cut or use the first piece of wood that i cut. That take a lot of time , now with this helper tool all i have to do is put the tip at the edge and make a small notch and move up the log and do the same thing until i get to the end of the log. This tool is again fantastic and i really like the beltloop clip so when i get done notching the log i just pull the helper of the saw bar and hook it to the clip. It's is now out of the way and i don't loose it.This is fantastic, i used the woodcutters 16' helper for the first time today and it made cutting wood so much faster. Big improvement from all thread
This is a wonderful product. Very strong magnet. Semi-bright color contrast. Just simple, useful, & practical. No adjustment like my diy all-thread (tied to one saw)/other models i considered buying. My humble opinion no need for adjustments. These are cheap enough to enable purchase of 2 diff sizes if really needed. Some may need the choice of multi sizes from one stick. But in my case, that feature was somewhat of a limiting factor with ease of use. The extra rod protruding past the stop marker got in way.(not often; enough to make note)This is a wonderful product. Simple & Very Helpful
The is an awesome tool. The magnet was way better than expected. The quality is perfect. I’m working on cutting 10 cords of maple for next winter right now. This takes away all of the guess work or extra effort of measuring cuts, so that the wood fits in the stove. I lay out 15-20. 8 foot logs at a time them mark them all with this. Then clip the tool my belt and cut all of my pieces. Super simple and easy to use.The is an awesome tool. The magnet was way better than expected. The quality is perfect.
