    From the begiining of the world through all the religions to modern time.

    I read this book over forty years ago the first time. Now, every ten years or so, I re-read it. CLUE: ignore the parts that take place in 1964. Boring. Read the stuff the runs chronologically from teh stone age to modern times. If you EVER want to know what religion is all about and where it came from, read and refer this book. Buy it for those who are having trouble swallowing the outrageous demands of some religious zealots and urge them to let it help them form their own opinions.

    Best book ever! Captivating!

    I expected the condition of the book to be a little bit better as I bought it for a friend, but it was good enough to read. The book itself as one of the best books I ever read!

    Good Book to read for traveling to Israel

    I'm going to Israel this October and a friend from my church recommended this book, The Source. I've barely started it, but have read James Michener before and like his work. The shipping was reasonable and immediate. Thanks!
