Product Information

A port of the arcade title of the same name, Crypt Killer is an on-rails light gun title in the vein of such games as Area 51 and Lethal Enforcers. Seeking the fabled "Eyes of Guidance," players embark on a journey spanning six levels, each infested with wave upon wave of monsters, mutants, and undead creatures, all of whom must be summarily dispatched in order to continue onwards. Although initially equipped with a shotgun, players can acquire more powerful weapons such as a Gatling gun, automatic rifle, or grenade launcher along the way. <br><br>Also in your arsenal are smart bombs that can be utilized to clear the screen of lesser enemies in a single blast. Each of the game's six levels can be completed in any order, and span such locales as dense forests, tombs, and catacombs. Within each level, players will on two occasions happen upon alternate pathways that require a decision as to which direction should be taken. All however, lead to a boss character that must be destroyed in order to complete the level. Crypt Killer supports both single- and two-player simultaneous play with standard controllers or light gun peripherals.

Monster shooter
Old school light gun game still holds some play value even today. If you're in the mindless light gun shooter gameplay this game's for you. It's not the hardest game in the world but it's a Time killer along with crypt killer. Highly recommend it to the light gun game collectors.

similar to the arcade game!
I remember Crypt Killer from times in the arcades when I was younger. I bought this title because I picked up a playstation unit for my son. It's very similar to the original arcade game. You can use either the joystick or purchase a gun separately for more killing action. The graphics are dated but to me that's what makes it unique. There's nothing really involved with this game...you're in different area's and the zombies keep coming for you and you keep right on killing. They do come from everywhere so unless you're into "god mode" from gameshark you will die frequently. Crypt Killer & light-gun
All I wanted was the light-gun to access special features in a game...the gun & game came together at a very nice price so I bought them. They have both been wonderful & fun! My son loves the game so I am very happy.

I first found out about Crypt Killer in the liner of Lethal Enforcers 1&2. Of all the types of games I'd rather play, the shooter game is my preference. If it's light gun compatable, I'll probably jump on it. The premise of this game is simple, and simplicity is another factor that draws me to a video game.
