I have been searching for this video for at least a year. Don't think it is on DVD. I was using an I instead of and E. This is a true story; nearly the story of my life. Only I am here. Jennifer Lopez did a super, wonderful job of portraying Selena, 23. This movie is as real as it gets and holds your attention. I did not get a good copy the first time and am waiting for one that doesn't have noise and interference; they are sending another one. Please get here! Actual footage of Selena is at the end; Wow times were different in those days; Donna Summer was her idol and she sings her songs at the end in the astrodome. Her parents, (dad drives the bus), new rodee becomes her first love; oh, I could watch this movie all day long and tomorrow too! It is real folks; the way it really is. There ... who dont love selena
well if you havent see selena, its a must see. its about a father who has a dream for his little girl. the father was in a band and found out his 9 yr old could sing. he gets her into small gigs, then one day she hits the top. everything seems great untill a "family friend" is acused of stealing money, selena confronts her and winds up dead.

This item is wonderful! My handicapped 19 year old daughter does not have success in using DVD's independently. They get scratched, broken, etc. There are more steps in viewing a DVD and not being able to read prompts frustrates her. She is very independent in using VHS. Put it in and push play. I am confident my daughter is the biggest Selena fan on Earth! She will get much enjoyment from this item.This item is wonderful! Great Movie!
This movie is amazing in the way it shows you the struggles of a young singer. It's amazing what lengths people will go to for money. In this movie you see excally how people can change and even harm people for money.
