Tac-Force TF800BK Spring-assisted Folding Knife
For the $5.29 (shipping included) I paid this knife is a great value. It opens smoothly and locks solidly. Very sharp out of the box.The quality seems to be above average - I shopped several of this type in brick and mortar stores and could not tell any difference, even with the higher price tags. Maybe they would stay sharper longer under normal use? The build materials did not seem any better to my eye. Looks good, well made but doesn’t perform well
It’s an OK knife. I’ve owned Tac Force Knives in the past and they always impressed me due to low price, quality, and sharpness. I ordered this knife after losing my Gerber knife at work. It seems to be well made, the liner lock works well too. Here is where the knife failed to impress me: the blade is not sharp. Out of the box I needed to sharpen in and it still doesn’t stay very sharp. Not impressive. Also the clip is allow down on the knife so it sticks out of your pocket-so not very concealed. It’s a quality clip but it ripped my pants when I tried to use it bc it is so tight. You have to literally out your finger on the bottom and spread it open a little so it can clip you pocket without ripping it. Definitely will go back rob gerber. A solid knife
It is a much better knife than one would expect for a budget price. It is solid in construction. The textured grip is a plus, guaranteeing it won't slip from your hand in wet or snowy conditions while fishing and/or hunting. It is also perfect to have in any emergency kit - you want something that will be reliable. The blade is very sharp. While the spring action may seem stiff, it is likely designed this way to ensure safety until one becomes more comfortable and familiar with a spring open action. The belt clip, a nice add for a knife with heft. An added note (12-06-19): If you are unsure about using the spring action to open the knife, it can be opened like any other folding knife or pocket knife.It is a much better knife than one would expect for a budget price. Surprisingly good budget knife!
While I prefer knives like Columbia River, I just wanted an inexpensive beater knife for my edc. I was thoroughly surprised at the quality of this knife...especially for the price! Glad I got it and I highly recommend it!

Good knife
A good knife that seems sturdy. Cuts very well. Only negative so far is that the clip is very stiff. Had to spend a while trying to get it to clip on but it will be worked out eventually with use.
