A very informative and down to earth honest DVD.
I purchased this DVD after we found out that my granddaughter has Down Syndrome. We were just kind of what you would call ignorant about the subject and completely devastated. My daughter is only 19 and we couldnt understand why? Well, this DVD helped us to understand that it was nothing she done. It tells ALL about the chromosomes, and exactly what happens and WHY it causes down syndrome. The DVD has many other families in it that deal with the day to day life of having a child with down syndrome. I absolutely LOVE the DVD now that I can sit down and watch it. At first, It was extremly hard to watch, because its all about the reality of what families go through; and some of it is really hard, especially when the babies have serious health issues. I cried alot. Now I can watch the ... I purchased this DVD after we found out that my granddaughter has Down Syndrome. The DVD re: Down Syndrome is a wonderful learning tool.
A great DVD with lots of info for families welcoming a newborn with Down Syndrome. This DVD has parents making comments and sharing stories of their experiences. Everyone has a positive and uplifting attitude which is helpful to families facing a whole new situation. I got last night, watched it once, and am ready to watch it again to absorb more information.

WONDERFUL DVD, IT HELP US HAVE BETTER UNDERSTANDING
I BOUGHT THIS DVD FOR A FRIEND WHO RECENTLY HAS HAD A DOWN-SYNDROME BABY. THEY WERE NOT PREPARED IN ANYWAY FOR THIS SPECIAL CHILD'S LIFE AND HOW TO HANDLE SUCH A DELICATE INFANT. THEY HAVE INFORMED ME THAT IT HAS BLESSED THEM AND THEIR FAMILY IN SO MANY WAYS.
