    Lots of variety

    I bought the Breadman book because I just bought a used Breadman Machine. I needed some variety and I got it. It is great to get some healthy recipes to try out. There is quite a variety. My favorite ones right now are the Raisin Bread and the Almond-Apricot bread and the Almond Apricot spread. In order to make some of the recipes, we had to get some things like glutine powder, and lecithin, but once you have it in your cupboard, it's easy to make lots and lots of bread. By the way, this book compares different machine setting for the different kind of bread machines.

    Perenially useful book for the novice or the more experienced baker.

    I purchased this copy to replace one I "loaned" to my daughter. The recipes are easy to follow, plus the author includes a great deal of useful basic information, especially for people who have never baked bread before. Simple, clear instructions and suggestions to make breadmaking as simple as possible. Probably the best basic book for anyone with a busy life (who isn't?!) or no experience with breadmaking.

    Still timely even though published many years ago

    Book arrived quickly and in good shape. Pleasantly surprised by the "bread"th of options. Also a good source for healthier recipes which is the book's strong point.

    Good recipes if you can wade through the preaching

    I do like the book but could do without the puffed up preaching. Good recipes that generally work well with some tweaking. There are recipes using novelty flours like spelt as well. Nice to have with a bread machine.

    Simple yet tasty

    Apart from many recipes for bread you can find at this day this book has many simple recipes, tasty as well as healthy. I found this book in the library and decided to buy my own copy after trying some recipes in the book. I like whole wheat bread recipe as well as whole wheat dinner roll recipe in this book. If you're interested in making the healthier bread for your family, I recommend this book.
