When we wiped it with a rubbing alcohol soaked paper towel, it bled red dye, which is to be expected for a color treated stone, but even after that, the stone only showed small discolored portions. The stone is nicely shaped, we are glad we bought it. Packaged well and shipping was fast, only 10 days from the placement of the order. Gems Copious gave us a really good discount. We would buy from them in the future.
