In the role of a soldier, alone in a devastated urban jungle, players use the super-human abilities provided by a technologically advanced suit to save the world from alien invaders, as they battle through the first-person shooter sequel, Crysis 2. As in the first game, the hero's most important weapon is a high-tech suit that integrates with his body to provide increased defense, enhanced stealth, and various offensive capabilities. The sequel's enemy aliens employ improved situational intelligence and group tactics, calling on players to approach each situation strategically and make the most of the array of powers provided by the suit. <br><br>Written by science fiction author Richard Morgan, the story takes place in an embattled New York City. The metropolis crumbles under a full-on invasion, as aliens return in force to annihilate humankind. Conventional weapons and warfare fail against the onslaught, leaving Earth's salvation to the wearer of the revolutionary Nanosuit 2. Using the integrated stealth, strength, and special abilities provided by the futuristic armor -- along with a selection of highly destructive weapons -- players embark on dangerous missions to strike at crucial vulnerabilities and sabotage the alien assault.<br><br>The game's multiplayer options include "Crash Site," a team-based mode in which players compete for control of resources that appear regularly on the battlefield, and "Team Instant Action," for pick-up-and-play, squad-based deathmatches. Crysis 2 was developed by Crytek, and runs on the German studio's signature "CryEngine" programming platform, designed to produce exceptional graphics on contemporary consoles and home computers. The game can also be played in stereoscopic 3D with compatible equipment.

    In Crysis 2 the playground is vast! Only the best gamers can finish it!

    I really enjoyed playing the first Crysis game, that I still go back to it. So when Crysis 2 came out I was anxious to try it out. Like everyone else I was impressed by overall appearance of the game's graphics. The interface is much more polished and well designed. Game play is challenging because not only do you have to battle human enemies but aliens as well. You better have your game on when it comes to taking down armored alien soldiers, headshots are a must! I like the introduction of the nano-suit upgrades. For every alien you terminate (The big alien soldiers pay out a lot) you collect points. When you have enough points you can upgrade the nano-suit's powers. AI level for your enemies are okay, however there are few times in the game when I shot at an enemy they went into a rapid ...

    Fun game!!!

    Crysis 2 is a hell of a game, great graphics, great gameplay, lost of action, sometimes is a bit repetitive but there's no perfect game still well worth the money, also if you haven't play the last 2 games the story line will be a bit confusing, if you can get the last 2 games i suggest try to play both, they are pretty cheap everywhere and they looks just as good or even better. I'm not sure how good it looks on consoles PS3, xbox ,since I got the PC version and I got for a great price here at eBay if you like FPS and You are not too picky this game is fun.

    Awesome game

    From my stand point Those guys that complain about drunken sailer vision when turning are people that have low spec computer and they don&apos;t even meet the requirements of the game. My friend had very similar symptoms you get so much blur when spinning or just turning. Anyhow looking I used frap and he was clocking at 15 fps which is why the blur appears. I have a amd 5200X2 and nvdia 9800 gt and I get 37-50 fps on average. Obviously the person who gave one star for the game absolutely not a good gamer or would we say a casual gamer and little know nothing about computers!! I have the played demo its awesome. IM buying the game soon from far as I can see this going to be awesome as homefront.

    Crysis 2 Review

    This game is truly amazing. It is the sequel to the original mind-blowing Crysis game. The graphics are stunning when combined with the incredible sound and game style. The nano suit bring a whole new combat style into the world of fps shooters. If you like shooters, and are up for a challenge, play this game on its hardest difficulty. The AI is sure to make you work hard, you might not be able to finish it. The online multiplayer is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had with an fps online shooter, as it combines the best of everything (graphics, sound, game style, community, weapons and 'feel'. Go buy it, you'll enjoy it. (but have a good computer at hand, since to max this beauty out, you'll need some serious graphics card power. I myself have a GTX 470 on a 3D 1080p screen).

    This game is epic and GREAT story line i wish more games where like this!!!!! if you like any FPS you need crysis i am new to crysis and not very far in the game but the opening scene got my attention very quick. the graphics as well are AMAZING be sure to have a pc that can easily run on extreme graphics to get the most out of the game because its like real life and you really feel like your truely in the game. one game i can kinda compare this great story line to is resident evil 4 or dead space 1 and or 2 although you cant buy guns and upgrade them in crysis 2 you can change your attachments in mid-campaign not just in loading areas or at the start of a new map or mission you can do this in mid game. along with upi grading your suit and choosing the perks that easily fit your mission ...
