Brad FaxonTop 10 player on the PGA tour and two-time member of the U.S. Ryder Cup TeamDuring the last thirteen years with Dr. Rotella's instruction, I have consistently improved my game, my scoring average, my skills, and my place on the money list on the PGA tour. If you follow his direction you will greatly enhance the chances of improving your own golf game., Tom Kite1992 U.S. Open champion and 1997 U.S. Ryder Cup captainBob Rotella understands the importance of discipline and dedication to a well-thought-out plan for improvement. Patience, persistence, and trust are required, but progress will follow if you honor your commitment to the plan he outlines. Doing so will bring tremendous feelings of satisfaction and pride., Davis Love IIIMy father spent many years teaching me to play golf, but when I reached the PGA Tour we realized that a poor short game was holding me back. My father suggested that Dr. Bob Rotella could help me reach my potential as a tournament golfer. Bob taught me a steady routine and has given me the confidence in my game to play at the highest level of competition.

Synopsis
Accountability protects public health and safety, facilitates law enforcement, and enhances national security, but it is much more than a bureaucratic concern for corporations, public administrators, and the criminal justice system. In Why Privacy Isn't Everything, Anita L. Allen provides a highly original treatment of neglected issues affecting the intimacies of everyday life, and freshly examines how a preeminent liberal society accommodates the competing demands of vital privacy and vital accountability for personal matters. Thus, "None of your business!" is at times the wrong thing to say, as much of what appears to be self-regarding conduct has implications for others that should have some bearing on how a person chooses to act. The book addresses such questions as, What does it mean to be accountable for conduct? For what personal matters am I accountable, and to whom? Allen concludes that the sticky webs of accountability that encase ordinary life are flexible enough to accommodate egalitarian moral, legal and social practices that are highly consistent with contemporary feminist reconstructions of liberalism., A golf book which offers advice to those wishing to lower their handicap. It is written by the sports psychologist author of GOLF IS NOT A GAME OF PERFECT and GOLF IS A GAME OF CONFIDENCE.

  • A Great Book By Dr. Bob!!

A great book for any golf lover out there!! This book really makes you understand what you will or what you will be going thurgh with a swing change. Even as a Pro. Golf teacher I found it very helpful and there was alot of good insite. If you want to get better...yes a teacher would be the best way to go..but this book can still help the golfer who thinks his/hers swing "only" needs a small amount of help. It's more for the mind then a "lessons" book. Still...a MUST have book for any golfer!! Have fun this year golfers!! Chris Andrews/Foxgirl167 Affordable Golf Lessons

  • A road map for better golf...

In "The Golf of Your Dreams," Doc Rotella maps out the steps to take to bring your game of golf to the next level. I bought this book because my current long-term goal is to make an impact in local amateur tournaments. I was somewhat disappointed at first because Rotella's philosophy relies heavily on instruction from a professional and building a relationship with him or her. I thought that perhaps this book would go in the direction of his other books (which are all great, by the way), where the mental approach is key, rather than instruction. After much reading, Rotella convinced me that I can afford a monthly lesson as a kind of "check-up" for my game and to obtain some drills or skills to work on between lessons. The strength of this book is the discussion of the commitment to ...

  • Read other Rotella Books, not this one.

This book really disappointed me, compared to the other Rotella books. I strongly recommend Golf is not a Game of Perfect and Golf is a Game of Confidence. Those 2 books have yeilded immediate improvement in my game. This one had very little new insights to share.

  • golf of your dreams

This is a great book. I have read before but lost it. The book will help you improve your golf game. I am a low handicapper and these books help give you that little extra.

  • Bob Rotella Books

A friend loaned me his copy of Golf is not a Game of Perfect -- I enjoyed it so much I had to buy it and Bob's other books. Gives excellent insight to the "mind game" we play on ourselves when we play golf.
