Good clear content and presentation
I bought Maxines book because I am a fan of The Browns and also I am interested in their early experiences in the mid 1950's when they were on tour with a young Elvis Presley. Maxines style of writing is good and clear and as a reviewer said she pulls no punches and holds nothing back. I would have prefered the book to have been in hard cover with more photographs and more details about their recording career. Compaired to other books on country/pop music I have bought it is good and I have no regrets about my purchase.I bought Maxines book because I am a fan of The Browns and also I am interested in their early experiences in the mid 1950's when they were on tour with a young Elvis Presley. Looking Back To See by Maxine Brown
I absolutely loved this book! I was informed about the book by a relative so I purchased it immediately on e-bay! I could not hardly put the book down for a minute. If you love Country Music and reading about the outstanding entertainer's of Country Music then you will love this book! Maxine Brown is witty, smart and funny which makes the story lines all that more interesting! This is a MUST READ book and I am sure anyone that loves Country Music will love reading about such an intimate story of the country music legends that are written about in this book!I absolutely loved this book!
