A synopsis of the battle
Andre Noah Trudeau is a very easy read. He also has a "back and forth" type of writing, where you are not stuck in two or three chapters of one subject within the battle. Also try to read " Bloody Roads South " another EXCELLENT book by Trudeau. You can EASILY picture what he writes about in his books. This book is definitely a must read for historians, adventure readers, or ones who like little known facts.Andre Noah Trudeau is a very easy read. I have been an avid reader on the American Civil War for many years. The battle at Gettysburg was really the turning point in the war. I have looked for a sale on this book in retail stores to no avail for many years. I was delighted to find it on e-bay at such a good price. The book was in hardback, and excellent condition. I started reading it immediately upon arrival. I highly recommended this book to anyone with an interest in American History. I have since purchased another book on Lincoln, and the politics during the war.
