Product Information

You're a smuggler in a gang known as "The Forgotten." You and your boys need to prove yourselves as viable competitors in the seedy, crime-ridden world of underground smuggling rings. You'll be asked to deliver money, illegal weapons, and even dangerous chemicals from one point to another. Along the way you'll have to navigate hilly and rough terrain in SUVs, buggys, and trucks along with a many other vehicles that become unlockable throughout the game. <br><br>Transporting item A to point B isn't as easy as it sounds, as you'll have to jump rivers, speed over mountains and through towns all while evading everyone from rival gangs trying to steal your loot to the CIA. Navigate through desert, snow, and forests as you race to complete your objective. Once you get tired of that, you and a friend can either go head-to-head to see who can retrieve and deliver the pick-ups fastest, or team up and go against other gangs. <br><br>What's the quickest point to your drop off? Do you jump that river and risk getting caught up in the water current? Think you have enough speed to drive up that mountain? Or should you play it safe and take the main road? These are the types of critical decisions you'll need to make as you progress through Smuggler's Run. Single-player progress and unlocked vehicles can be saved using 324KB on a PlayStation 2 memory card.

    Great classic.

    Played this game when I was a teenager and wanted to revisit it. Still great fun all these years later.

    A review for smuggler's run for PS2

    This is a fun game, that i enjoyed playing. it's not like one of those games that you can beat in an hour, it takes some time, so it's worht the purchase. The one thing i didn't like about the game was that it's one of the blue backed discs, so sometimes it has a hard time reading the game, but it could also be my PS2. Overall, it's a decent product.

    smugglers run is awesome

    I loved this game the first time i had it but my son played it to much and broke it. I went a year without it and then searched for a new one and found it on ebay. If you like driving games this is one of the best i think. You can free ride or play the missions or play a two player game that is pretty intense at some times if you are good. I rate this game a 12 out of 10 and same for the seller. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks.

    outstanding!!

    This is Rockstar's early work, the foundation to their modern titles. no matter what vehicle you choose, they all handle the same. the "cops" always seem to have faster, more agile and harder hitting vehicles than you can get your hands on. the maps and navigation system are primitave and of little help. the terrain makes it almost impossible to go anywhere. it is also very predictable. but it is a very straight, mash-the-gas, destructo game (you can run over people, animals, houses, etc...) . a must have for any hard-core Rockstar fan!!
