    Tiny camera; big results

    I bought this camera to take snapshot of two motorcycle trips I would be taking. Four years later it is still working fine despite daily use and those 4000, and 8000 mile trips. The camera is so small you'll carry it with you and just by having it, you'll record so much more. You can get thousands of low res pictures or hundreds of 5 MP pictures on a card. I've also used this in its MACRO mode to take closeup pictures of many item and it works just fine for everything I've asked it to do. I have a DSLR and just bought a refurb Panasonic Lumix SZ1 for $129. It too is small and does so much more than the FX8, but is significantly larger. I still keep the FX8 with me in the car for those photo opportunities that I used to miss. I'd buy it again, and essentially have with the recent ...

    Digital Camera Review

    I really like the small size, and ease of functionality. It has all the features of my large, bulky camera, yet the picture quality is superior. My sister was looking for just such a camera and when I saw this one on eBay I sent here the link. She bought it and after I saw it I bought one too. We both bought upgraded SD cards and now we only take the highest quality photos. I used this camera during Independence Day celebrations and took hundreds of pictures and a few video clips, yet there was still battery life left and more picture room. The picture quality is fantastic.

    One the the better cameras I've had for the money

    My previous camera was the Kodak Z700. I don't take pictures much. The majority of the cameras use was for taking pictures for Ebay listings (about 85%) The biggest reason I bought this camera was for it's ability to take upclose detailed photos where the Z700 would be very blurry. Also, the benefit is the rechargeable battery pack that lasts a TON longer than the AA batteries required in the Z700. Overall, for what I paid for the Lumix FX8...in my opinion, can't go wrong. Very happy with my purchase.

    Excellent camera

    This camera was to replace an identical one I bought in 2005. That one is now deceased - so I bought this reconditioned one as a replacement. It was/is as-new. A great camera; very simple to use, image stabilization and all. Good image quality (can be printed at 8 x 10 without pixcellization) and long battery life. Great value!

    More is better!!

    I have owned one of these cameras for 3 years. I like it so much that I bought another one for years to come. Pros: Battery, excellent life. Will last for more than a month if you just leave the camera around. Battery hasn't need to be replaced after 3 years of use. Quick to start up, quicker to shoot pictures. The mode dial on the camera is perfect. I leave the the nomral mode on max quality pics, the Simple mode I put on email size photos, so when I want a smaller size I will take two photos to avoid resizing or email problems. The Scene mode is great, learn how to use it! Small enough to carry in your pocket!!!
