    Saxon Math 5/4

    Having tried many different math curriculae over the years with my daughter, I finally decided to give Saxon math a whirl to see for myself why so many people find it to be so wonderful. And, after having used it for one month, I can definitely say I like it alot. It is not as flashy as some other math programs with full-color pages and upbeat cartoons and such, but the Saxon approach is much more manageable for my daughter and I fond it very well-rounded in what it teaches from lesson to lesson. It presents a precept upon precept type of learning, with lots of review and practice work, but in a way that does not overwhelm the student - or the teacher. I especially appreciate that it has helped to encourage our not-so-math-minded daughter that she can "do math". As a matter of fact, I ...

    Super way for kids to learn.

    My 3rd grader struggled with math because of the odd way they teach now-a-days. He has used Saxon now for 2 years and scored the second highest in the district. He now does his Saxon book while riding in the car, at home and out in the pastures.

    Love Saxon Math!

    I've used Saxon Math for 6 years across 6 grades. I'm happy with every edition. My students score highly in standardized tests every year.

    All six of my children have used this math book, I recommend it!

    This book is especially helpful to children around the ages of 7-9. Right now I have my fourth grade daughter on lesson 86 and my second grade son on lesson 21. We did use Saxon Math 3 before going to this book. Homeschooling makes it easy to go at their pace. There is also a very helpful test and worksheets book you can purchase separately that goes right along with this math book.

    Best Saxon Math Book

    This in our opinion is one of the best Saxon math books. Our 4th grade son is really flourishing in his math skills because of how the skills spiral and allow adequate practice with enough modeling. Thank you for the quick shipment! Used book, but none of the pages were written in - just a child's name on the front cover.
