Product Information

Combining elements of horror and fantasy, Bullet Witch is a third-person shooter starring a green-haired woman named Alicia. The fate of mankind just so happens to rest on Alicia's slender shoulders, but she is more than up to the task, thanks to a proficiency in both the arcane arts and modern-day weaponry. The setting takes place in the year 2013, a time when the planet is besieged by a demonic army cutting a swath of destruction wherever they roam. To combat this terrifying threat, Alicia wields a large staff called the Gun-Rod that doubles as a rifle, allowing her to incinerate her enemies by using bullets forged from the souls of vanquished foes. <br><br>Alicia can also perform witchcraft, from summoning tornados and meteorite showers to piercing targets with rose stems or assembling murders of crows to swarm and consume everything in their path. As players progress through the game, skill points can be acquired to spend on increasing Alicia's health or magic capabilities, and the Gun-Rod can be upgraded over time as well. While Bullet Witch is strictly a single-player game, Xbox Live support is included for additional content in the form of downloadable costumes and bonus levels. Prominent Japanese manga artist Yasushi Nirasawa, whose creature designs were used in 2001's Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and in 2004's Hellboy, was the creative force behind Bullet Witch's variety of demons.

    It's not WET or Bayonetta. Yet it has it's charms.

    Bulletwitch is a title that has so much potential. The concept, design and overall play is still fairly good: for a game some called, "a tired game in a tired genere." Although yes admitantly I was somewhat disapointed with the seemingly lack of finished or should I say rushed graphics (this title was one of the first for the new X-box 360 system). And at the first of the game you can dive and spin to dodge, but are unable to fire weapons when doing so (devil may cry style). That is an ungrade you can get later in the game, which makes little sense to me. Lastly some of the voice over work is down right sad. BUT! If you can look past the graphic flaws and some of the not clearly thought out dynamics, the game play is pretty fun for a "tired genere". The weapon power-ups, the unique spells ...

    After reading the other 25 reviews .....

    ... Little is what I can say about this game. First, I bought it because several years ago (I hadn´t a 360 back then) I saw a trailer of this game, and I actually liked it. Well, in fact I liked Alicia :), but that´s not the point. Some months ago I bought my Xbox 360, and of course now I should buy this game. And so I did. This game have as many good points as bad ones. It´s true the graphics are not what they should be... but the Alicia´s graphics for the other side :)... Anyway, if the game have the same mechanics as 2000 other games, is true too that shooting while casting spells is really fun. How I enjoyed when I used the shotgun and sent flying a demon/zombie! And the first time I casted the Lighting spell was really fun, the tank destroyed in a flash. And, I don´t know ...

    Great, and powerful!

    The game is very awesome! It has an awesome storyline, and Alicia is a really awesome video game character that loves to kill the undead with her really cool weapons, and magic. Not to mention she has a bad habit of blowing stuff up which is cool, too!

    DESPITE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS VIDEO GAME, I LOVE IT AND IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE "SHOOTER" GAMES ..... THIS YOUNG LADY aka "THE BULLET WITCH" WITH HER ARSENAL OF MAGICAL POWERS AND WEAPONS TAKES ON THE DEMON'S OF THE UNDERWORLD WHO HAVE INFILTRATED AND INHABIT OUR WORLD. ALICIA CLAUS ARMED WITH HER 400 ROUND GATLING MINI GUN (ONE OF HER WEAPONS) SHREDDING DEMONS TO SAVE THE WORLD ..... "GET SOME" FOR THIS GAMER ! GRAPHICS SEEM TO GET BETTER AS THE GAME CONTINUES WITH EACH CHAPTER. THE BOSS (OMEGA) FIGHT AT THE END IS CERTAINLY A CHALLENGE IN THE TOP LEVEL. "LOCK 'N LOAD", A FUN VIDEO GAME FOR THIS GAMER !

    Let Me Down Gently!!!

    Pros + Some very awesome moments of gaming hidden in here. + Lots of things to destroy. + Plenty of different costumes to choose from. + Awesome, powerful spells to cause a lot of destruction. Cons - You&apos;ll be shooting the same guys over and over and over. - Too much walking involved. It&apos;s supposed to be an action game, not the boring parts of &quot;Lord of the Rings&quot;. - The sniper rifle doesn&apos;t have a scope &amp; only 4 guns to choose from. - Terrible acting, a lot of repition, and a lot of just plain boring parts bring the whole game down. Comments Wanted to like this but it&apos;s just so mediocre.
