The Best of the Les Miserables Ever Made
I may have cheated a little. My VHS copy of Les Miserables just wore out. I wanted a DVD but NOT the movie version, I wanted the concert just like the one I had. That is what I got and I have just about wore this one out already. I did buy two sets one I sent to my brother for his BD. I also bought the older movie version with no music to say only background music. I don't think too many know it was a movie with Liam Neeson, I taped it years ago like 25 or 30 years ago. I loved it also, so I sent one to my bro for his BD, now he loved them all too. Please people if you have not seen only the movie a few years ago, I hope you will give the Concert and first movie a try, it is not the same, it is an excellent show both of them. Les Miserables-In Concert
Les Miserables is one of my favorite musicals. I saw it once and really loved it. I wish I could see it again but until then, I like watching Les Miserables In Concert. It is not the same as the stage musical, even though the music is the same. Many stars of the musical are in the concert playing the parts they are famous for. Since I saw the musical on stage, it was easy for me to follow and enjoy. My friends that watched the concert with me, on the other hand, got lost and didn't understand the story and couldn't follow what was happening. By the third song I had to start explaining what was happening in the story. I will recomend this DVD for anyone who has seen Les Mis on stage, but if you wish to buy DVD and have not see Les Mis on stage, then I will recomend you do some resarch on ... Wonderful DVD A Highlight of my collection.
This is the 10 yr anniversary Les Miz concert with the Dream Cast of great singers acting and singing their hearts out. Better than the 2 performances I saw of the actual production in New York City and the road show version in Tucson, AZ. I wore out the VHS copy after watching it more than 50 times and now have the DVD version. It moves me to the verge of tears every time I watch and I continue to watch over and over. The movie is very good but for superb singing this is the DVD to have and cherish. And the great after the show treat of performers who portrayed Jean Valjean from 16 countries all over the world, singing in their own language --- the icing on the top of a luscious desert. Les Miserables Tenth Anniversary DVD
The music from the Broadway show "Les Miserables" is amazing. The songs are so beautiful. If you have seen the Broadway show this DVD will bring all the great songs back to you. Lea Salong and Michael Ball have a wonderful stage presence. Colm Wilkinson is absolutley brilliant in this role. The message through song is very powerful. The quality of the DVD is quite good, too. If you loved the show you will love this DVD.The music from the Broadway show "Les Miserables" is amazing. The songs are so beautiful. I only have a VHS copy of this which I bought when it was first released. Needless to say, I paid a lot of money for it. Now, I truly owned a DVD @ a bargain price ❣️. Need I say more 😉?. I love it!!!!
