These bulbs couldn’t be used. They seem industrial sized & don’t fit in household lamps. The description given by the seller didn’t specify.

I'm sorry to hear you couldn't use them. The listing does say they are PS25 bulbs which are the long neck shaped bulbs pictured. You're probably looking for A9 shaped bulbs which would be more standard in household lamps. I would've been happy to answer any questions you had or even would have returned them for you since it's not the kind you were looking for but unfortunately only knew of your problem through your feedback. Sorry we couldn't help sooner. I hope you find what you're looking for.

Exactly what I was looking for!
When I was first looking for a transom saver I was afraid that I wasn't going to find one that fit my trailer because the cross bar sat so far under the boat. I actually ordered this product thinking that I was going to have to send it back, but it fit perfectly!! It actually had more room to adjust to a longer length. The rubber pad that sits against the lower unit is very robust and mounted to the saver very firmly with the two bolts that are provided. The mount that sits on your trailer has a single bolt that goes through the frame of the trailer and holds the mount to the frame. I did have to replace the bolt that was on the trailer because the bolt was a carriage bolt and when I tried to take the nut of it spun in the plastic pad that the bolt was holding to the trailer. Easy fix just replaced with a 4" hex head and a nyloc nut. The bar that holds the motor up seems to be very strong as well. The two ends are solid and they mount inside two outer pieces then there is another pipe that is bent to make the main shaft that steps up to the motor from the trailer. The saver has a quarter twist piece of 1"x 3" stock at the trailer mounted end of it. This allows for the bar to screw into the trailer mount and has a real secure fit. So the saver won't bounce out in the event that the saver falls off your motor driving down the road. Definitely recommend this product!

Easy to setup and take down at the ramp. Only fault, the Transom saver requires adjustments on laong hauls.
As stated, the product is good quality with easy setup and take down at the ramp. However, this is my second Panther transom saver and I find that no matter how I adjust the tension on the rubber V-block during long hauls on highways dealing with various road conditions of construction and bridge expansion joints the rubber v-block slips out of the metal U bracket. (see pictures) So what I do is stop and check conditions after rough travel and readjust the V-block. I'm limited as to where I connect the transom saver V-block on the lower end of the motor. If it's to high the bolt on the insertion shaft is in line touching/breaking the marker lights on the trailer. (see Pictures) If it's to low the metal portion holding the Rubber V-block starts hitting the lower unit. I have reordered a ... The Panther transom saver is well built and is easy to install. I have one on another boat that has been in use for several years and it still works as it did new.

seems strong but a little wobbly.
Has a nice reach and seems to hold motor straight. have not actually towed with it yet but i think it will work fine. it is a little wobbly but tightens up when you apply preasure.
