Synopsis
******Recently Published!****** Unit Operations of Chemical Engineering, 7th edition continues its lengthy, successful tradition of being one of McGraw-Hill's oldest texts in the Chemical Engineering Series. Since 1956, this text has been the most comprehensive of the introductory, undergraduate, chemical engineering titles available. Separate chapters are devoted to each of the principle unit operations, grouped into four sections: fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer and equilibrium stages, and operations involving particulate solids. Now in its seventh edition, the text still contains its balanced treatment of theory and engineering practice, with many practical, illustrative examples included. Almost 30% of the problems have been revised or are new, some of which cover modern topics such as food processing and biotechnology. Other unique topics of this text include diafiltration, adsorption and membrane operations., Unit Operations of Chemical Engineering 7th edition continues its lengthy successful tradition of being one of McGraw-Hill's oldest texts in the Chemical Engineering Series. • Great book very useful essential for all chem. eng.!!!!

This book is great and essential for all chemical engineers. Used it for university studies. This was the prescribed text for Modelling, Mass Transfer, Separation Processes 1 and Separation Processes 2 at the University of Newcastle. Great book and should be bought by all chemical engineers.

  • Excellent chem eng book!

Covers pretty much everything you need to know. Used it for graduate level course as a overview of chemical engineering, easy to read even if you don't have chem eng background.

  • exactly match US edition

not sure the problem matching, but guaranty have same content as university bookstore stock. Why need pay extra $200 to buy a hard copy book. Save money for tuition or buy beer for fun.

  • Same as the hardcover, go for it.

Regardless of being an international edition, the book has exactly the same information and the same problems that the hardcover edition has, word by word. I borrowed the hard copy from the library and compared to this one as soon as I received it.

  • unit operation
