This book is an excellent introduction to the concept that history can be distorted based on who's telling it; well-documented examples of common history text mistakes or in some cases outright lies.

Especially if you did not get college-level history, as I did not, this is REVELATORY. Starts with explaining why people want to swap Columbus Day for Indigenous Peoples' Day. Escalates from there.
