Product Information

Pieces takes the traditional jigsaw puzzle and updates it with all of the bells and whistles typically associated with a video game, including special items, multiple difficulty levels, support for up to five players and three modes of play. You can compete against the computer or a friend, with the goal being to finish a puzzle (or set of puzzles) before your opponent. If you decide to challenge the computer, you will face eight increasingly challenging opponents in a race to complete three pictures. Random items will appear during the puzzle, which can help you complete your goal or hinder your opponent.<br><br>In total, there are eleven items which range from Search (gives away the location of three pieces at the top of the screen) to Sweeper, which will "sweep" away half of your opponent's fitted pieces. Jigsaw Mode allows up to five players to compete against one another for points. There are no special items in this mode, and the difficulty can be set to one of four levels. Depending on the difficulty, you may have a time limit, trick pieces or a miniature solution to follow. Puzzles can be selected from eight genres (such as "The World" or "Sports"), each with eight puzzles ranging from 36 to 60 pieces in size.

    Addictive Puzzle Game

    Pieces is a fun game in which you have to finish puzzles before your opponent does. Before the round starts, you are shown the image that you are supposed to complete. At the bottom of the screen are some of the pieces of the puzzle; you have to drag them to the correct place. Every time you put a piece in the right place your special meter increases. This allows you to use power-up which include: a paint brush that wipes away some of your opponent’s pieces, a tool that directs you to where the piece that you are holding goes, and many more. The single player mode is very entertaining, as is the multi-player. Highly recommended for Super Nintendo owners and fans of puzzle games. Pros: - Unique puzzle game - Large variety of puzzles - Two-player mode Cons: - None

    Forgotten Gem

    Pieces is a jigsaw puzzle solving video game for the SNES. That might not sound like much, but I figure most people haven't played it. Single player is what it is: Race the computer in increasing levels of difficulty to finish a puzzle. Multiplayer, on the other hand, is awesome. Play with two to five players (with multitap). Two players can each individually make the same series of puzzles against each other while gaining power ups that either help themselves or wreck the other players chances. Up to five players can work on the same puzzle, gaining points for placing the pieces correctly. For my friends, this is now THEE party game. Shoving, swearing, and general ruckus follow in the wake of Pieces. If you like games like Mario Party, Wario Ware, or Fusion Frenzy but love the crappy ...

    Very fun game!

    My grandmother and I use to play this game during my childhood. It is a very fun jigsaw-puzzle game, with special features and competitions to keep it very interesting. Highly recommend! FUN SNES GAME!
