  • MISTAKEN IDENTITY

It was a book I could not put down. I found it so powerful in so many ways, mainly because of how the two families used their religion to get them through this ordeal which strengthened them and made me even more a believer in the power of God. There was no one reason for me to dislike the book, it held my interest all the way through. I had seen both these families on "Oprah" and was amazed how two families could go through such tragedy but turn it around through faith to make them stronger from the experience. I decided at that time I had to read the book and was not disappointed. In fact, I bought it for a couple of friends from church because I wanted them to share in reading the story and be inspired also. I highly recommend the book because it will either touch you profoundly ...

  • Mistaken Identity by Mark Tabb

This is truly the best book I have ever read. Even though I knew the outcome; I didn't know the details. These families faith in Jesus Christ is what made me want to continue the book. I read the whole thing in one day. I could not put it down. Their faith is what made me want to read every word right now. I praise them for their courage to write a book like this, I am sure that it was not easy, but their faith is what made them do it. I only hope that my faith would be as strong as theirs if my faith was put to the test like theirs was. I wish there were more such books out there to read. I strongly recommend this book to everyone. I decided to buy this book after turning on Oprah on day and only hearing part of the story. I wanted to learn the whole story. We have 4 children ...

  • Mistaken Identy

This is an amazing story to see the turmoil these familes went through. I just couldn't put the book down. I knew the outcome of the story before I started reading it, but it was so well written, keeping the suspense up thoughout the story. It's a book that shows you their strong faith and makes you think how you could ever function through a tragic thing like this. It is on the religious side, but at the same time, it's a story everyone should read. I was hesitant to pay full price at the book store and was so glad I was able to buy a very, very nice used copy on e-bay when everybody is trying to be careful of their budget.

  • I loved Mistaken Identity

I have to be honest. I am 33 years old, and I have never read a book in my life. I got through high school skimming through the important parts, just to write a report. I just have no attention span. I watched this story on Oprah one day. I only caught half of the story, and I was amazed by the story. So I decided to buy the book. I read this whole book in about 3 days. That may sound long to avid readers, but for me it was really fast. The faith that both of these families have, amazed me. This true story just knocked my socks off. It is one of those stories that you just ask yourself "WHAT"?. No way. I gave it to my girlfriend to read, and she cant put it down.

  • Amazing Story!

This was bought as girt for my teenaged friend. She said it was a beautiful heart tugging story and easy to read and really get into. She really liked the pictures of their lives. It was sad but knowing it was a true story, it was even harder for me to read without crying for the families. This is perfect story for young readers and might be a really good book to use for English reports or class assignments. You will really love getting to know the two girls and their families. Enjoy!
