À propos de ce produit

Product Information

Though it offers authentic, playable simulations of more than eight classic machines from the 1960s through the 1990s, Pinball Hall of Fame aims also to provide players with an entertaining, interactive reference to the history of pinball. Developers at FarSight Studios (NCAA Football '99, NASCAR Road Racing, ESPN NFL Primetime 2002) worked with the "curators" of the real-life "Pinball Hall of Fame" (a project headquartered in Las Vegas) in an effort to craft an accurate and relevant simulation. Each virtually re-created table is introduced with a "fly by," which points out notable features, allows players to plan strategies, and highlights artwork and interesting trivia. The game saves high scores, both by player and per table, and party-table kings and queens can unlock an additional "bonus" machine. Up to four can compete in the game's multiplayer modes.

  • Pinball fun

Some old timey tables going back to the late 50's until 1992 Gives a little History lesson about each machine and why it's a classic. The modern tables are the most fun and playable however which ends up being about 3 out of the 7 tables. The race car theme '87 and the golf theme '92 are the best tables. The Black hole table ''80 is unique for it's sub level, but like many of it's precceding table itis too easy to loose the ball through no fault of your own. Has an option to play 5 balls instead of 3 which the Williams pinball hall of fame game doesn't. Always preferred the Williamas tables over he Gottlieb in real life. It is easier to keep the ball alive, there are more targets to shoot at than Gottlieb which seems to emphasize hitting drop targets in order within a short time ...

  • Pretty Good Pinball

Compared to the newest Pinball Hall of Fame, via Williams, this one isn't as good. My experience has been with the ball not 'triggering' the response, leaving with you with the game hanging, causing me to restart the game/system. Other minor glitches are that the ball does some crazy things at times; jumping off the table, going through flippers, as well as other objects on the playing field. Gottlieb pinball machines were never all that fun, anyways. Most of the games played more like a pachinko machine, whereas they just drain the ball without much action (unless you take your chances tilting them). If they had the game to re-do, they should have made some of the machines a little more 'lively'. I know that it was some aficionado that wanted to keep the games true to life, but in a ...

  • Very lifelike, but gets boring.

This game has real pinball tables from the 1950's through the 1990's, and sets reasonable, but challenging goals for each table. After a goal is completed, you can play a different, usually non-pinball game. It also contains the poster ad used to sell each table, as well as it's history. The graphics are excellent, and you feel like you're actually there. However the title "Pinball HALL OF FAME" makes you think that there would be tons of tables to choose from, when there are really under 10. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes, wants to like, or is learning pinball. If you found this review helpful, please don't forget to vote!

  • Be a Pinball Wizard

The Gottlieb Collection presents a healthy variety of pinball machines from various decades. The machines are very fun to play and a very good adaptation to the electronic platform. The gameplay feels true to real pinball action. The player is given 4 free machines to earn credits to play the other "locked" games, by achieving goals on the various machine you can unlock games. Each machine has it's own goal and hitting these goals motivates the player to play better. The only critism I have for this game is that it is very hard to achieve the goals. I give it a 4/5 rating due to the high level of difficulty. Pinball fans should be very happy with this release.

  • Pinball Hall of Fame

I like the graphics, the feeling of playing the old pinball machines. Very easy to play once you figure out to to operate it. It is somewhat hard to navigate through the game, no good instructions, and some of the games are locked until you figure out how to get to them. There are codes you can look up on the internet for this. I tried downloading games from the internet to play and you either had to buy them or they froze up the pc. Therefore, I bought this game so that I could play it on my game console instead, more versatile.
