Always liked this move. I had it on Video tape, but not DVD
I always liked this movie. My house was sideswiped by a tornado recently (no damage) and so I wanted to watch this movie again, so I can really feel luckier about what I escaped. LOL!

Very good title.
I like the special effects and the actors. You will enjoy watching this movie because of the many fine actors involved. Have seen this movie several times and most likely will watch it again and again. However, if you are buying this movie and want to see an improvement in picture quality, DON'T. I have both the regular DVD version and the Blu Ray version. Except for the occasional improvement in picture, I did not notice much if any difference. I don't know why that is. It could be because the picture contains so many dark scenes. It could also be because of the amount of computer generated special effects. Normally when I watch a movie in Blu Ray or HD format, I notice the more movie like quality and improved sound. That was not the case for this particular ... I like the special effects and the actors. You will enjoy watching this movie because of the many fine actors involved. Have seen this movie several times and most likely will watch it again and again. However, if you are buying this movie and want to see an improvement in picture quality, DON'T. Bluray better than VHS
I had this on VHS and it took me a while to realize that. I spent quite some time up in the attic just to find no twister dvd..... I had it on tape, not dvd, so there's the problem. You need the bluray version only because of the quality and the behind the scenes. It's not a large file size by bluray standards but well worth the purchase. This movie did for tornadoes what back draft did for fires. Remember your day and age, clearly I forgot mine.I had this on VHS and it took me a while to realize that. Just love the movie!
Love the movie! Seen it so many times and just gets better each time! Great action and makes you feel like you are right there! Always wanted to go chasing a tornado and this gets me close!!!

Twister (with Bill Paxton)
The movie is about a group of storm chasers chasing dangerous funnel clouds in hopes that they might be able to learn how to study tornadoes more closely. The idea being to create an early warning system that would warn people further in advance, giving them more time to take cover.
