A dark frontier awaits in the game "World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade--Collector's Edition." Two new races arrive with the Burning Crusade expansion. The Blood Elves are doomed descendants of the High Elves who fought alongside Humans against Orcs generations earlier, and the Draenei are a refugee people that managed to resist the Legion's demonic corruption. This expansion for the game adds hundreds of quests, dozens of monsters, and raises the level cap to 70. A full installation of the main game is required to play the add-on. Burning Crusade Collector's Edition
This is an older expansion which I wanted for the collector's items and in game pet. As well the behind the scenes DVD. A lot has changed in World of Warcraft, so jump in if you haven't already. Battle for Azeroth is around the corner! This product was sealed as advertised and the key worked perfectly in Blizzard Account Management. Please note this is an older expansion and you probably know that already. Since these are not made anymore the sealed versions are valued based on supply / demand. WoW's Burning Crusade!
While not exactly what every World of Warcraft fan was waiting for, it was an awesome experience grabbing the flying mounts for the first time. As for the grind from 60-70... not so great. In the mundane WoW questing style a lot of the quests you do are just longer more repetitive washed up version of past quests. Kill X amount of mobs and pick up Y amount of items. It was also a shame to see all of your old epics turn to greens, and old rep go to no use. The new PVP system was amazing, the ability to save up honor without worries of losing any, was just awesome! All in all BC was a mediocre expansion with lots of new flashy zones to keep you happy till you reached your level cap. The good stuff wasn't to come until almost an entire year later, with the introduction of new raids and gear. ... If you are an avid world of warcraft fan then this collectors edition will suit you well. Otherwise, for all other fans this is something that will cost you more than its worth. Although at a price tag of now around $29.99 it might just be well worth it for any fan. The edition raises the level cap from 60 to 70 and adds two new playable races: The Drainei and Bloodelves. Not to mention new items, monsters, zones, and more! The purchase also comes with the game, "Art of the Burning Crusade" book, exclusive in-game pet and behind-the-scenes DVD. Also includes World of Warcraft Trading Card Game starter deck and exclusive cards, mouse pad with map of Outland & official soundtrack CD only in the Collector's Edition. The Burning Crusade -- Wonderful Expansion
This is a marvelous expansion to World of Warcraft. It's fun, and the new content is great. I absolutely love the Blood Elves, who have become my new favorite race to play. I've been playing WoW (casual gamer) since it came out, and have loved every minute of it. If you enjoy the main portion of the game, then this expansion is definitely worth buying. As for the previous reviewer who said it is addictive and will destroy your life, that's absolute and utter NONSENSE. Just like everything else in life, moderation is key, and 98% of the people who play the game are not "addicted" to the game in the sense that the previous reviewer insinuates. If you have an addictive personality, yes, there is a chance you can become hooked in an unhealthy way, but those same people run that same ... This is a marvelous expansion to World of Warcraft.
