The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the fifth game in the classic Elder Scrolls franchise. This entry in the series takes place in the land of Tamriel. This setting is a departure from the settings of games like Daggerfall, a territory that is home to frigid temperatures and ferocious barbarians. In the midst of a civil war, a dragon attacks. You are the Dovahkiin, the prophesied slayer of dragons, and your goal is to kill Alduin, the leader of these dragons, in order to bring peace back to Tamriel. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is played in the first-person. Everything from swinging a sword to casting magic is done from the eyes of your character. The game is incredibly open-ended, leaving it up to the player to choose how they play. In classic Elder Scrolls fashion, you can ignore the main quest and wander around Tamriel, which is home to many wonders, including Dwarven ruins, old castles, and dungeons. Traveling off the beaten path will reward you with powerful weapons, armor, and other items. Nearly every character you talk to in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a quest for you. It will take the average player 40 hours to complete the main quest, but it could take over 200 hours for players to play through everything in this open-world game.In this version of Elder Scrolls, you will have the ability to use the language of the dragons. This language manifests itself in the form of a shout that allows you to perform incredible feats. The feats include forcing enemies off a cliff and freezing your foes solid. With each one you receive, these shouts will change how you play.The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a beautiful game. It harnesses the full power of the Xbox 360. The draw distance is long, meaning you can see for miles ahead of you. Each enemy is rendered in astonishing detail, and you can see every scale on a dragon.     Skyrim: Collector's Edition

    I've purchased quite a few collector's editions of games as a gamer and this is by far my favorite! It comes in a massive box that contains Alduin, the antagonist in this story. The dragon itself is very detailed and especially sharp! The word wall that it rests on did not receive the same type of quality unfortunately. The art book is great! Tons of concept art to look at if you enjoy that sort of thing. And it comes with a map or Skyrim, which isn't made of cloth, so that was just ok. Overall, it is a great collectors item to add to your collection!

    Amazing Open World Game

    This is arguably the best open world game that has ever been put out for a console, graphics are amazing, roam where you want when you want, do what you want when you want to do it as far as missions and etc go, its a 10 in my book, Bethesda is in my opinion the best open world game maker in the buisness, Fall out, Dishonored, all great games to play. Lets hope we get another elder scrolls game for the xbox 720 a launch title would be awesome.
