The 1985 movie I remember!
This was the first Godzilla movie I saw when I was little! I recently purchased the dvd version, and even tho I did not remember it well, it seemed different. After learning that Raymond Burr had been cut, I had to purchase the VHS! That's the movie I remember! The voice actor are different as well as several scenes. Totally worth the buy for any Godzilla fan! The only thing I was disappointed about was, because it was not a rental copy, it did not have Godzilla vs. Bambi at the beginning.This was the first Godzilla movie I saw when I was little! Once upon a time, Godzilla motion pictures were silly, campy and kiddy, going far away from the original concept of an unstoppable force tearing through Tokyo. The release of Godzilla 1985 changed that with the return of the true King of Monsters. Many followed this film, and while they were all excellent films, even the campy ones that came before it, only a hand full could match it's greatness. Toho's classic

Enjoy this rare cut of the video. It may never get another release.
The video was in great condition. The only criticism was that this tape was recorded in EP and not SP. Video quality suffers as a result. However, it is a minor issue and SP is not great quality either by today's standards. Either way, this brought back childhood memories and am grateful for owning a copy of this movie.
