Nostalgic with some tweaks
Overall a good, faithful remake of the original Diamond/Pearl DS games. I heard from someone that they didn’t like it because it’s barely any different from the original. Well, they’re right. It’s not. I knew and wanted that going into it, but if you’re looking for something original, this ain’t it. Try the new Legends Arceus game for a fresh open world take on Pokémon. But for those of us looking to relive those hours spent chugging away at the game with the little 8-bit style graphics on DS for Dialga and the Pokémon league, this is for you. The graphics got a nice upgrade and so did the Grand Underground. There’s a bit more to do down there and it’s useful for catching unique Pokémon and leveling up. Maybe not as much as I was hoping (maybe I replayed it too recently on DS and now I’m kind of over it), but it did deliver exactly what I asked for in a very slightly upgraded package that fixed a few of the things that made the old game cumbersome. Good for old players and those new to D/P alike. This will always be my childhood game and I’m happy to have such a faithful version to play on my switch.

Great game for old gamers and new ones.
It's a game with a lot of mechanism from older pokemon games which is what I was looking for also has some good enhancements on the gamplay which helps on progress faster on the game, overall a great game if you want to try something new that taste like the old good games.
