Came in as expected, Sealed and ready after opening it. Quick 4 minute setup, and I was applying Helix to put some classic games on it. A day late, But not rlly the fault of the shipper. Worth the price

Generic I9 - Unlocked - Some problems but OK
The phone is a good copy of the I-Phone, but we had trouble uploading the Sitia -Legacy program to get the internet and SMS to work. Corporate T-Mobile store helped - others would not. The phone has excellent call sound quality and works great, the international aspect of the phone was difficult to work with but I expected it. The clock had to be manually set, which is odd - expected it to do as other phones and set clock from the network. I was pleased to find two batteries provided in the pack, this was a benefit that I did not expect and is needed. The phone is still new and I am learning the odds and ends of how to operate the phone. Reasonably priced and it works with T-mobile SIM.
I bought this iPhone 3G-8GB for couple of months now. This phone has good battery life if I turn off Wifi when not being used. wifi works great; Screen is clear; IOS is not compatible with quite a few applications. There seems to be some issue with the battery meter recently, and iOS crashed once. I had to do the "hard reset" three times to get back to the home screen (Hard reset = hold down both power button and home button for more than 15 seconds or until the apple logo comes back, then release the power button and home button, and iPhone was functioning again. It works with my T-mobile pay as you go SIM.I bought this iPhone 3G-8GB for couple of months now. On a 1-5 scale, it is a 2 in Quality & 5 in looks...kindda like an Audi
As you should know, the 3G iPhone is the successor of the 2G or 1st Generation. The 3G is dubbed as such, mainly because it uses 3G network data, and is otherwise the 2nd Generation iPhone. It is a good phone, & Apple has certainly tried to fix a lot of the shortcoming of the 1st Generation in the 2nd, HOWEVER do not be fooled: the 3G in is cheaper and weaker in every sense of the words. A little about me: I was one of the 1st to jump on the iPhone bandwagon back in 2007. Since then, I slowly ended up in the business of iPhones, where I only deal with iPhones and know them inside out & that is why I see everything Apple tried to fix iOS & hardware-wise & it is a very interesting thing to observe. There is always a BUT, and it is the fact that the processor in the 3G is the same as in the 2G (speed wise) so it doesn't run iOS 4 very smoothly - you will get lag. 2. Parts a replaceable. If your LCD, digitizer, speakers, mic....if anything breaks, you can replace just that part. IMO that is it. The 3G is a fast attempt to fix some issues the 2G had, but overall they failed with it. IMO the iPhone 4 is actually the 2nd Generation iPhone, where the 3G & 3Gs are more like educational attempts. Don't get me wrong, the 3G is NOT a bad phone, BUT it breaks very easily and has low quality of the parts. Here is what I don't like about it, things that were made cheaper from the 2G to the 3G: 1. The back went from aluminum to plastic, which does not dissipate heat. cracks, breaks, chips, and overall does not work better than the aluminum - however it is much cheaper, ergo why it was chosen. 2. By separating the LCD & Digitizer, they are in turn made weaker, so very often, your LCD will go blank from one drop, or your digitizer will crack. Damage induced by daily usage happens very very easily on the 3G. The 2G due to its construction was more resilient to drops and abuse. Because all internal components are separated to make it possible for them to be changed individually, they break much easier - and that is where the parts industry comes in - China galore! 3. Internally: a) Every mount is plastic. b) the chrome bezel is cheaply mounted to the back plastic case, so as a result will often separate. The right fix involves more work than most people want to deal with. c) All of the components are cheaper - they just break and break and break. d) There are plenty of parts suppliers, so you can easily fall victim to faulty parts and it happens more often than you realize. e) Most everything in the 2G (internally) is metal, and everything on the 3G (internally) is plastic, so you can imagine that when something breaks... f) H2O or water sensibility - because of the way internal components are arranged vs the 2G, if you were to expose the phone to any amount of water/liquid, that probability that it will get damaged is significantly higher than in the 2G. Overall, in the 3G certain things are attempted to be fixed from the 1st generation, but because Apple's aim was ultimately to make a cheaper, more affordable iPhone, the 3G fails as a real contender, and is just a beta testing device IMO. If you have to choose between a 3G & 2G - you will be happier with the 2G for longer. If you change your phones often, go for 3G. If you have to choose between 3G &a
