This book is a portal to inner peace and will always remain a timeless spiritual reference for real people making the journey. Since reading it, I have typed and posted little snippets from it to hang on bulletins boards and inspire coworkers. Once you "get it" (the message).there is a profound need to share it. I also shared excerpts with a friend to give her teen daughter who was being bullied and it helped center her and move forward. Illuminata speaks to people of all ages but for the less enlightened, I think it's a spotlight into the dark corners of our souls. Don't let the 1994 date turn you off. This is Enlightenment Balm. Like the prayers
Covers a great span of different prayers. We have the CD version of the book and listen to it often. The Cd is so relaxing it puts me in another state of being. But sometimes you just want to pray a certain prayer and the book will be easy to find the pray to repeat over and over for that day, or to use for a time when you are praying for someone or something in your own life. I would buy this book for a gift or recomend it to a friend.Covers a great span of different prayers. We have the CD version of the book and listen to it often.
