In the year 2047, humanity faces several dilemmas. Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars -- Kane Edition requires single-players to either fight as a member of the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) in an effort to contain the Tiberium, an alien substance infecting the Earth, or use the living matter to create a new breed of mutated people as a member of the Brotherhood of NOD. Gamers must select their side and then step into a variety of campaigns and battle zones where the object is to create a base and defend it while sending units to attack the enemy. <br><br>Between the battles of Tiberium Wars live-action cinematics unveil the story of each faction. Classic units make a return to the game or players can keep their opponents at bay with such futuristic technology such as stealth generators and lasers. There is no one way to win, and players are given rewards based on their style of gameplay. <br><br>Lending their talents to the theatrical cut-scenes are a variety of Hollywood actors including Michael Ironside, Josh Holloway, Tricia Helfer, Billy Dee Williams, and Grace Park. Rounding out the list of names are John Huck and Shanon Cook, two real-life journalists who assume the roles of two reporters broadcasting information about the battle. Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars also features a several online options including voice-over IP, clan support, and a spectator mode.<br><br>The Kane Edition offer players a glimpse of the work behind the game. Players may watch a behind the scenes documentary that includes deleted scenes and a blooper reel, and strategy videos from the developers. In-game enhancements include five additional multiplayer maps, five desktop wallpapers, and a unique unit skin for each faction.

    A collector is buying a game to play! ...

    Seize the day. A good point to put some worries aside. But, what if you live long enough to regret some of your decisions you made in the past? Like throwing away your old computer, old calculator, old toys and soon after you realize that they make a lot of money, much more than you can imagine, today. The ones which make even more money today are the items that were very expensive when they first hit the market! Why, because less people were able to buy them and because they are rare they make more money. If you look at the prices from this perspective, nothing is expensive really. They in fact different ways of investment which will compensate their value after many years.     Peace through power, peace through gaming

    Well, I decided to buy the game after having played the demo which I enjoyed so much. That was one reason. The other one is: I grew up with Command and Conquer. Well the most fun part about the game is the factions it creates within the community. Call us crazy (but hey - we're gamers) but it's just great to side up with one faction and then argue with your friends about the different ideologies, technologies and strenghts of your favourite side (I'm Nod, btw.). While I have to admit that the campaign leaves open a bunch of questions, I'm pretty confident that there will be answers in the expansion (if there is one) or in the next game. Altogether that game is so much fun to play. Entertaining and challenging. so.. sorry for the text if you could not find it interesting =P have a nice ...

    Great Game

    I bought it because I had already purchase the expansion pack for this game. It is defiantly a great addition to the Command & Conquer Saga/Series. And the Kane Edition with all the Extras makes it even more special than the standard edition. Just take Command & Conquer Generals & Command & Conquer General: Zero Hour and multiply them combined by 5x-7x.

    Another amazing addition to the C&C series

    The graphics are good and it really brings you back to the good ole days of Yuri's Revenge. I have had some bugs but it is made by EA so don't expect it to be perfect and they are putting out patches which should fix it all. I definately reccomend this game for any RTS fan!

    Excellent, but watch out

    The game is excellent, online play is acceptable, I just love it. A little thing I dislike is the poor defences against the super tanks, tripods and aircraft, there is no way to contain a massive army attack
