Product Information

This unofficial sequel to 2008's Deadliest Catch: Alaskan Storm features six different fishing campaigns that vary in length and complexity. While the goal in each is to catch more Alaskan king (or opilio) crab than your rivals, the campaigns will span one or more seasons and feature one or more opponents. Inclement weather will also factor in your success rate, and you have the option to pit your skills against others online. Gameplay involves choosing a destination and time of day to fish, with the bulk of the action involving several different mini-games.<br><br>You'll need to retrieve and set pots, sort crabs, complete repairs, and more through activities designed to support motion controllers. Each mini-game also offers the possibility to string combos with successful timing, which can lead to improved stats for the fishermen that participate in them. The money earned from your hauls can then be used for repairs or ship upgrades. Your competition in Deadliest Catch are the real-life captains from the Discovery Channel show, including Sig Hansen, Johnathan Hillstrand, Andy Hillstrand, Keith Colburn, and Phil Harris.

    Bottom Line: BUY IT BEFORE ITS GOOOOONE!!

    When i first got into watching the show Deadliest Catch, everything on the show seemed really excitingly tough. This game is about as realistic as it can get for a game based on a TV show. I bought this because of my fascination of the show itself. What i like about this game is simple, it is very challenging, very realistic in its scenarios, and everything is based off of time and "gut feeling." YOU, the player, are responsible for every action that leads to success or failure. YOU have to deal with storms, empty pots, and equipment failures as well as the health of your crew and possible rescue missions at other ships aids. There is nothing i can honestly say i dont like about this game. As far as comparison being that it is the only version of Deadliest Catch for the Wii platform, this ...

    I bought this item as a joke because one of the video game reviewers I watch rated it as the worst Wii game ever created so I had to have it

    Horrible, embarrassing, money grab. Save your money for the show DVD's

    This confused game is nothing more then a sad attempt to make a money grab off the reputation of an excellent television show. The game play is boring and none of it immerses the player in the television show experience. Deadliest Catch, Sea of Chaos captures all the excitement and game play of mine sweeper. It should never have been released.

    awsome game

    cool game i give it five stars. i hope that they come out with another game but make it more realistic this next time around. and a little more easier for others to play
