  • Great diet plan

    This book offers a fairly simple approach to a diet that works for many people based on no-nonsense things like steering your diet towards a low fat/low carbohydrate intake (but incorporating "healthy" carbs) while eliminating the extraneous sugars and such that start us craving more of the "bad stuff" to begin with. It also doesn't require that you work out like Jillian Michaels (not that it's a bad thing but some of us aren't quite fit enough to go "there"...yet!) Instead, it focuses on an old-school form of low-level cardio work: walking-tried and true and probably the easiest to do! It is simple, easy to read and understand, and also encourages a little self-exploration as you go throughout the dietary process which helps in finding "triggers" and other challenges that can trip us up ...

  • Your bible to good health

    Great information to be able to set your mind to be able to focus on your goal. It gives you examples to follow and sets you on a self awareness path so you can develop a system of your own to fit your lifestyle and lose weight at the same time. Of course, you must have already decided to lose weight and that is the first step. This book gives the second and most important step and tells what food to eat and how to prepare it, and why to eat certain foods and why not to eat other foods. If you like to cook like me, you can use this book to easily change recipes to fit your need.

  • Oldie but a Goodie

    There are a few things in here that are a bit dated, but in general the concept is sound. Tracking and accountability are always helpful. Human nature has not changed, so the sections dealing with behavior modification are still on point. All in all, who would not benefit from Eating Better, Moving More and Stressing Less? Highly recommend.

  • Lean for Life Works for Life

    This book describes a workable plan for getting to be the right weight, whether a person needs to gain or lose. It teaches those who are not scientifically inclined how weight loss/gain works. It provides a program anyone can follow. I used this plan in 2001, and lost 65 lb in 23 weeks; unfortunately, I did not go into the maintenance phase, and I gained back some of the weight. I was so glad to find the book again, and this time I plan to KEEP ON using its guidance so I can become and stay Lean for Life.

    The book is the best way to loose way safe !!! If you were to buy the book, it’s usually about $40 and you have to buy it from Lindora. I already lost 10 pounds and inches in two weeks
