Product Information

Spider-Man leaves his "friendly" neighborhood of New York City to embark on a 20-level adventure set in such exotic locales as Nepal, Tokyo, Egypt, and Transylvania. Throughout his travels, Spidey must physically "convince" some of his greatest enemies to help him defeat a more pervasive threat to the world: a vast army of symbiotes. The developers borrowed elements from the film trilogy as well as the comic book series to create a vibrant, cartoon-like art style designed to appeal to younger audiences. One of Friend or Foe's key features is its cooperative play mode, in which a friend can enter the fray at any point in the game and immediately start pummeling enemies.<br><br>Spider-Man can eventually call on the help of 12-plus potential sidekicks. Playable enemies include Green Goblin, Sandman, Doc Ock, and Venom, while friendly companions include Blade and Iron Fist. The action sequences involve using each character's distinct fighting moves and special attacks to eliminate groups of onscreen foes. Solo players can instantly switch between Spidey and his selected sidekick, allowing for specific team-up and combo moves. Hidden throughout each 3D world are a number of tokens and collectibles to unlock bonus content, from head-to-head battle arenas to extra costumes and other surprises. In addition to gesture-oriented moves with the Wii Remote, the Wii version also includes an additional character exclusive to the platform.

    Love the game and would recommend to all 5-10 yr olds.

    This is really the third time that we have owned this game because my kids love it so much. It is a game for 5-10 year olds. It has a good leven of difficulty for them but you can keep playing without losing, or losing much anyway. The characters and graphics are wonderfull. We also enjoy the story line. As a Spidy fan I am enjoying seeing my kids play as Spiderman against all of his greatest foes. It also makes it kind of cool that Spidy's foes join him on his adventure where you are able to use them and their powers to accomplish your missions(objectives). I have to admit I have played the game when my kids get stuck(it is way to easy for grownups but still fun).

    My kids love this game!

    My kids love playing this game! Disc was somewhat scratched on the surface, but still plays well. I have no complaints!

    Great for kids

    This game is awesome for my kids, ages 6 and 4. The game isn't too violent or difficult. Great play value for younger gamers. If you're older and need the challenge.. then this probably isn't for you. But if you want to have some web-slinging fun with the kids.. this game is it! 2 player is great. The 2nd player can "join in" or "drop out". You team up with good guys and bad guys as the game goes along. There is a 2 player "VS" mode where you fight each other. Upgrades and specials can be purchased with coins.

    Spider-Man Friend or Foe - Wii game

    Game works perfect even though its used. Was purchased by my 9-year-old son - he used his allowance to get whatever he wanted on eBay -- his new choice of store. :) Game offers challenges and critical thinking, has things to read - which helps keep my son reading - and direction manual is easy to understand.

    Not bad at all but nothing amazing

    the game is pretty fun, but you find yourself fighting the same type of enemies over and over doing the same small list of moves. the game is very easy as well, seems directed towards 8-12 year olds. It's got some cool ideas with all the included enemy teammates and upgrading and everything but it still seems rushed in the long run. if you like spider-man or comic games its def worth checking out nonetheless.
