Incredible graphics, awesome gameplay, but takes to time to get used to.
When you first play the game, the first thing you think is: "Wow." The level of detail and shading in this game is absolutely incredible. No other game, not even future ones (MW3, Battlefield 3) have ANYTHING on Crysis. When I see other games, I can't help but scorning their graphics compared to this game. After playing this, any other game will seem dull in comparison, and I'm not even writing this from a fanboy's point of view. As for the campaign, the game definitely delivers, but it does drag on in certain places (some AI are set to endless respawn and it gets annoying) and sometimes you find some enemies running aimlessly against a wall, but I think that has been mostly fixed, and that happens in practically every game. When it comes to multiplayer, this is where most people are at an impasse. The actual gameplay is super fun if you can drag through the initial first couple days of you sucking. The only way this game is similar to other shooters is that it is that; a shooter. The elements are way different and require a lot more active thinking and strategizing, and it can take a lot of time to get used to. That is extremely important as I was on the brink of not buying this game (at first I was renting) because of that, but once you know what class set-up to use(don't use the mk 60 mod ;) ) and how to use the aspects of the game (Armor vs stealth, energy conservation, etc.) Crysis 2 moves from extreme frustration and anger to actually wanting and being able to play and do well, and it can become very, very addicting and fun. Overall, this game is awesome IF you give it a chance. If you want to really know how great it can be, all you need to do is just push through and eventually you'll be constantly at the top of that list.

well i own all the crysis series, and this one is sort of a bit different from the others. You know how in crysis you chose power, stealth, speed, and armour? Well in this game, your in default power and speed together, which makes life easier, trust me on that. The graphics are a bit dummed down for this game on the xbox 360, not a surprise, the console is getting old, and the computers these days with the Direct 11x support pretty much conquer the game on the graphics side. But no worries, the game is still pretty amazing regardless. The AI is pretty stupid too in this game, they will completely ignore you at times, and you can just shoot them point blank! But at other times, they can be smart and flank you out of no where, and kill you...not a good thing. You get all sorts of weapons, that you can play around with and find out which suites you most. Just like halo, your limited to two at a time, excluding a rocket launcher and a couple of C4s. This game is all about using your suits abilities to its maximum, and i mean maximum. One little mistake, such as selecting the wrong type of ability, and you could find your self dead. The Ceph in this game are powerful and cunning, not the the octopus type in the previous games, they are humanoid in form, not easy to kill unless you hit the jelly part of their body. Also, you'll find yourself in stealth mode in most of the time, after all your suite does not have infinity energy, so be careful. All in all, the game is well balanced, except for the AI getting a brain fart at times, you'll thoroughly enjoy the experience. Its definitely one of the top ten shooters, not too much sci-fi, not too much military, just right in the middle of it. Hope you enjoy being an unstoppable force!

Crysis 2 is a must play.
This game definitely deserves a play through for all FPS fans. There are some aspects that need to be fine tuned hopefully Crytek will release updates to resolve them (i.e. Campaign: Grain or Noise film visuals at times. Multiplayer: Audio glitches every now and then). Overall Crysis 2 delivers! Amazing graphics ,intense gun play, multiplayer's fun. Once you learn to combine all your enhanced abilities you choose how you want to take down your enemies. Whether you want to go stealth, armored up, or use your speed. Use tactics, mix them up on the fly it will make you feel unstoppable. I give it a 4.5 out of 5! If Crytek fine tunes this game like they did for PC I will give it a Perfect 5 out of 5 hands down!This game definitely deserves a play through for all FPS fans. You can keep the COD and BATTLEFIELD series, this game, in my opinion beats them all. Awesome graphics, decent storyline, variety of weapons and enemies, and the suit has nifty special features, like cloaking for stealth and armor. Great campaign mode. This one is a keeper.

Graphics are stunning, which makes for a great visual experience while playing the game. If your a player transferred from the Call of Duty Series like myself, the gameplay is similar but the storyline is much different. it's a little out there but it is a scifi, and the impeccable graphics and gameplay make up for the crazy plot. ive yet to complete the campaign, and have played some multiplayer and highly recommend buying this game preowned or renting it to feel it out for yourself.Graphics are stunning, which makes for a great visual experience while playing the game.
