Help you help yourself
I could relate to the story of being shuttled from doctor to doctor; being misdiagnosed, overmedicated, and told that I had to adjust to being an invalid for the rest of my life. The story was interesting and I agreed with many of the authors ideas. However, I do firmly believe that there is no "one size fits all answer". This particular story was validting, though, and anyone who had been diagnosed with an "incurable" condition should read it. I bought this book last year as was interested in finding out how Jordan cured himself of Crohn's disease and knew it would involve healthy eating, but not sure what. After reading the first few pages I cried because Jordan had tried everything to help himself with all sorts of treatments and was at death's door. The bit that really brought the box of tissues out was the fact that he said that he'd lost his sense of humour and I could relate to that as having had a few health problems myself, you do end up wondering what on earth should you do next and when's it all going to end despite how positive you try to keep thinking. The foods that Jordan lists are good whole natural foods which a lot of people have come away from in their diets. These foods are in fact ... These foods are in fact grown and bred for our health and the further we are away from nature (most people eat refined white flour, sugar and hydrogenated fats) the more destructive our lives are. Look at how much cancer and obesity there is now? People don't associate with what they eat to the effect it has on their health. Jordan has proved that what you eat does matter, no matter how you try and kid your body, it knows when you've fed it the wrong types of foods. You cannot get away with it. Ok, doesn't mean you can never eat chips, but you try not to make that the basis of your every day meals!

I did not like the book. I thought it would be helpful, as I was diagnosed with Chrones several months ago. It was not clearly written and there were far too many passages from the bible that really didn't make much sense. I wanted a down-to-earth practical approach that I could use to help me, but the author seemed to be more of a salesman than a writer. In the end, I feel that he wrote the book to promote his company and sell his product line. In fact, not only did I find it not easy to read, but it really wasn't helpful to me at all.I did not like the book. I thought it would be helpful, as I was diagnosed with Chrones several months ago. Change your gut health
This book has many revelations and incredible information to change your gut health which will change your life. I cannot recommend this enough to people with any sort of digestive issues
