Product Information

The second NCAA Football game on PlayStation 3 features a revamped graphics engine for improved animations, online dynasties supporting up to 12 players, and a more heightened atmosphere than in previous versions. The new graphics engine allows players to freely break in or out of moves instead of having to wait until each spin, juke, or stiff-arm finishes its animation cycle. The end result is designed to give players more direct control on the field, allowing them to quickly read and react to situations as they develop. Another new option is the ability to "ice the kicker." Implementing this strategy causes the kicking meter to turn frosty, partially obstructing the power meter, and changes the default camera angle to a view closer to the field.<br><br>Online fans can now create dynasty leagues supporting custom rules, rosters, and other user-defined settings. Invitees to an online dynasty can manage and build their favorite school's program over the course of 60 seasons. Other key features are designed to enhance the sport's pageantry. Cheerleaders perform aerial stunts in cut-scenes after big plays, touchdown celebrations incorporate school mascots, and quarterbacks can even regain composure by taking a multiple choice quiz after throwing an interception or making other costly mistakes. Win consistently and your team will improve its prestige rating, which translates into more fans at home and on the road. Lose several games in a row, however, and attendance will dwindle accordingly.

First controller is in all right shape. Second one is not. It has a lot of rust and dirt on it. Cleaning it before sending would have been nice.

Hi, sorry about this. I didn't think to look inside the battery holders prior to shipping. I will be more aware of this in the future.

    Little Different than Madden Games

    Pretty good game. It has its similarities to the EA Madden games but it's also different. Such as if you're playing in the "Dynasty" mode you don't draft you get to create prospects and try to recruit them. The home team has the advantage of "pumping up the crowd" on defense and it can cause the offense not to see routes or the associated buttons before the play starts. The control is a little more fluid than I played in the last madden game 2007. I remember renting Madden 2008 and thinking it was a lot better. Never played the ncaa games to compare it. Overall the plays and defenses seem to be in line with what has been in the EA games.

    Good Game

    First of I want to say that this years NCAA Football game is much different than last years game and that is a good thing. The play calling for intense is completely different from last years PS3 version. In last years version when you played against a friend they knew what play you were picking, on this years they go to the traditional X, Box, Triangle, and I think L1. There are also some new cool things added. For one when your QB throws an interception after the play you get to guess what play the defense ran and if you guess right your QB gets a confidence boost. The second cool feature is that if your the away team and the stadium is LOUD your team doesn't always hear what play your going to run and when you get on the field they don't always do what the tells them to do.     Touchdown!

    This is a great football game, like all that have came from EA sports, every year they tweak it, and it just keeps getting better and better. I would love to see the names of every player on the jersery, but there are so many college football teams, that I guess it would take some extensive research. But they get the stadiums just right, from playing at FSU's Doak Campell stadium, or taking it to the little guy in TROY, Alabama. All in all its a great game, and if you love football, and love to control it, then buy this game, because I know you are going to want to woop some tail-back online.

    Really great game.

    I have been playing the NCAA Football series since I was a kid. I started on the first every NCAA series game (Bill Walsh College Football). The game has changed many different ways and I feel this was the best one yet. The graphics are wonderful and the audio of the crowd is really something else. The player models could use some small work to make them a bit more life-like, but that is a minor issue. The new advanced recruiting in Dynasty mode is wonderful and really brings the realism into the seasons. It also contains a wonderful Campus Legend mode. I would recommend this game to anyone that likes college football. BOOMER SOONER!!

    Good but not Excellent.....

    I've been a very big fan of the NCAA football games produced by EA Sports. I was looking forward to this game since last years game came out. I haven't really seen that many changes in this game from last year. Let's go over the pros & cons of NCAA Football 09: Pros: Excellent gameplay. Superior sound & graphics. Awesome online dynasty mode option. Cons: Still missing the Create-a-Team option. No big changes from NCAA Football 08. No Division II teams. Too much in-game advertising.
