Bud Hastin's Avon Collector's Encyclopedia (2007)
My sweet little mother is a stay at home mom, where my dad and her children have always come first. Though she has never had her license, she has always been dependent on one of us to take her to yard sales where she could pick up Avon items for her collection. Her collection is massive and it's really hard to find something that she does not already have. :0) She has some of Bud Hastin's Avon Collectors books and loves them. She was sad when she heard that he would not be making another book after the 17th Edition. To my suprise I found this new 2007 book online and she was absolutely thrilled. It was like Christmas for her. I ordered the book through ebay and received it immediately. It's a wonderful book and she's in it for hours daily. The color pictures ... 18th avon encyclopedia
This book is the best of them all. There are tons of color photo's, the format is different, in a good way. Even the black & white photo's are much better, there is no background to them which distracts from the item. The index is much clearer & not confusing like the last one. This issue has a contents section in the front which is most helpful. The only thing I dont like is that some of the older & even newer items, have been omitted because they say they have little or no value or collectabiliy. You almost have to have older versions of this book for that purpose. I myself have 5 different versions. I would have liked it to be all color but I know it probably isnt cost effective to do that or we would be paying a fortune for one. This one is just really nice & ... Great Avon Collectors Book!
This is a great resource for any Avon collector or anyone interested in pricing Avon collections. Bud Hastin's comprehensive knowledge of Avon products and photos (some in color, some in black and white) make this book a must-have for your library! Easy to read, has sections by subject or type of collectible Avon item. I bought this book because I had the 15th and 16th editions. I agree with other reviewers that it's helpful to have all editions of this book, as some item values change over time. Very informative Avon book
The Avon book is so full of amazing items, and I'm finding out more about the Avon collectibles I have, but I'm not sure if I would like to keep everything for my boys or grandkids? Or do something with it myself? But I'm learning alot from this book about the prices, pcs in sets, etc. Thanks

My new Avon book
I have really enjoyed my new Avon book. It's exactly what I was looking for. I like the convenience of finding things I need or want on Ebay. I enjoy shopping from home. I live out in the middle of nowhere and would have to drive 30-40 miles round trip to find a deal like this one. I've been an Avon collector of sorts for many years now.
