  • Boring bland and annoying but good for a quick workout.

    If you are looking for a video that will get you into shape quickly, look further- this is not the one for you. But if you are new to exercising, or you're not feeling well enough for a challenging workout this might be very useful, it does have potential as a quick workout, it's better than skipping a workout entirely if you are short on time. You will need a large amount of floor space in order to use the aerobics sections, as the routine does travel quite a bit. The best part of this beginner to intermediate level DVD is that you can create a custom workout by selecting only what portions you would like to do.   • A Good Starter

    I found this DVD to be a nice workout for people who are new to exercise. I wasn't able to use the cardio section of it due to the space in my room but I was able to do the legs, arms, abs, and stretch sections perfectly fine in a small space. This was the first Exercise DVD I used and I started on the low impact areas with 2 ib weights. I was quickly able to complete the high impact areas with 5 ib weights and I do feel more muscle in my arms and legs. I didn't feel quite as worked out as with some other videos and I didn't really work up a sweat, but I could feel the exercises getting easier with each use. I really love the fact that you can customize your workout with low, medium, and high intensity arms and legs, and add in cardio low or high, abs, and stretch ...

  • Denise Austin's Personal Training System

    I absolutely love Denise's workouts. She's so good at keeping you motivated. This time was different for me. It's a great DVD. It lets you design your own workout. It's wonderful if you're just starting out, and you can pick a higher intensity level when you're ready. I didn't like the cardio portion on this DVD. They were very hard to follow and not easy to do if you don't have a lot of room. They're only 20 minute segments. That's not really enough time to have a good burn. All the toning segments are ten minutes though and you can choose from low, medium, or high intensity. Overall this isn't a bad workout. It's just not good enough considering the trainer. I expected much better.

    This video is interactive so you can choose between low, medium, and high impact routines between lower, upper, abs, and cardio. It's my favorite feature on any dvd because it makes it one video that you can grow with and you won't get bored for a while. The low impact cardio isn't really "low" impact, kind of disappointing. But the rest of the video is totally worth it! I'm not big on cardio anyway, so if you enjoy Denise's videos, this one gives good guidance and has awesome routines, which are different than her usual routines - you won't get bored. There is also a stretch routine. Everything is 10 minutes each and you can customize the length of your workout! This one is easily one of my favorite videos!

    I bought this product tto find something that I could easily tailor to my time commitments, strength and endurance. I had bought this product before and lost it in a move. When I used this product regularly I had lost tons of weight because it's so easy to follow and fit in my schedule. You will need a DVD player with a working remote control..you tailor the program on the menu. There are not many customizable programs out there and doesn not take a lot of time...this is perfect!
