After all of this ping-pong communication, they decided to refund my purchase price. Arrived in a plastic bag and was in pristine shape. This also saved me some time going to the store to buy a school pouch for the new year. The bag was a little on the small side and may be only able to hold a few items, but that's ok. My daughter wanted this and that's all that matters. Very happy with this purchase as well as this seller.
