  • Good to great. - Not for those with knee problems.

    I would have rated this as excellent if Bob had focused more on proper form and mentioned that people with knee problems might have problems with this workout like most instructors would. This DVD is broken up into 6 different segments. You can pick and choose by adding or subtracting workouts to make a custom workout, or you can use some of the precombined workouts as suggested for a 6 week workout plan. This DVD can be useful for all fitness levels form beginner to advanced. If you have knee problems, you might want to modify a lot of the exercises and avoid the boot camp section entirely. Bob focuses a lot on the arms and I would have liked to have seen some more chest exercises and a bit more work on the abdominal section. Unlike most instructors, Bob doesn't really do the ...

  • A good video to pep up a boring workout routine

    I bought this video because I had gotten in a rut with my routine and wanted something new and fresh to shake things up. The Biggest Loser definitely did the job! I enjoy the variety of the workouts and intensity (I did not care for the boot camp section though, a little too intense) but I will say the video's one major downside is that this is NOT for beginners! Keep in mind that the Biggest Losers that are in this video have already slimmed down! These are not for exercise novices or anyone wanting to get back into exercise after an injury. Many of the moves (such as lunges) you have to build up to the intensity that the people on the screen are at and while Bob does a good job of encouraging you to keep moving, you can't always keep up with the people on the screen.   • Great workout...very encouraging!

    I really like this workout DVD! It's a great way to start getting into a regular exercise routine and the segments are quick and range from beginner to high-intensity. I definitely feel the burn when I finish...even the low intensity. Bob Harper has a good style of teaching the routines and is encouraging throughout. The people in the DVD have proven results and they are not afraid to show their struggles just like I do (realistic workout video.) I recommend it to anyone who has been thinking about starting a routine and just doesnt know how. 5 minute warm up, quick low or high-intensity, then cool down sessions are excellent.   • Best of the Biggest Loser DVD's - give it a try!

    I've tried several of the Biggest Loser DVDs, but I like this one the best. (I like the other ones too, so that's saying something) It has a true variety of workouts and all of them are worth while. If the Low Intensity seems too easy, just add some light weights to some of the moves ( you'll feel it the next day). The High Intensity and Boot Camp workouts made my muscles tremble, which is a good thing, in this case. 4 separate workouts, so it is great to rotate with and not get bored. I really do think all fitness levels can gain something from this DVD. You can definitely grow with it. I also really enjoy the cast on this one and Bob (the trainer) is funny and motivating at the same time. Give it a try!

  • Bob kicks your booty in this video! Lost 80lbs combining this with running.

    Love Love LOVE this workout video! It helped me lose over 80lbs over the years. I gained back some weight since having my daughter that I just can't seem to lose...I lost my DVD so I'm forced to buy another one...cuz I LOVE it so much. I have tried so many other "popular" workout videos and though they really bust your @$$...I just don't have an hour to dedicate to working out everyday...and 10mins just doesn't cut it. My favorite workouts are the Bootcamp (great combo of weight training and cardio) and the strength training. Bob gets to me every now and then but we have a love-hate relationship. I love that there are REAL people doing these workouts with you too...it's nice to know you're not the only one struggling to hold those damn squats! BTW: Bob loves to make you hold your squats! ...
