Good tool, great price, performance without breaking your wallet.
This is a very nice, well thought out drill. I have gotten it as a part of the One+ system, and have been adding more to my collection. I like being able to use either the Ni-Cad or the Lithium batteries in any of the tools. Run time per charge on the Ni-Cads is no better/worse than my Dewalt or other cordless tools. It is lighter than my Dewalt drills, and seems to be better balanced. I got this drill along with the impact driver, which I am growing to love as much or more than the drill. It is great with socket head or square drive screws. I also have the 5.5 inch circular saw, which I think is nicer to use than my Dewalt, it is a little lighter, and much quieter in use. Some people claim Ryobi isn't as good as Dewalt or Milwaukee, but I have some of all of them, and I have ... This is a very nice, well thought out drill. Old one but a Good one!
This is prior generation Ryobi Drill. I like the older models, like this one better. Better balance and I think the are a bit more rugged. Will accept and use the newer Ryobi Lithium batteries just fine. This was a lightly used one in great shape an it works just fine.

Excellent value for the money
I recently purchased this item for less than $30 including S&H. I needed to find a replacement for the one my brother has owned and used for over 5 years in construction. His was old, beat up from dropping, etc. It worked nearly every day, until I had to use it to bore a large hole in a piece of wood. Then, whether by use, or dust, or whatever, the motor began to smoke. Go figure, the one time I borrow something, it breaks. All in all we are both very happy with all of our past Ryobi product purchases, both new and used.I recently purchased this item for less than $30 including S&H.
