An enduring performance from Patrick Swayze
Patrick Swayze is back and gunning for justice as Charles Barker, an unorthodox but effective FBI veteran in "The Beast". Sadly, he would pass away on September 15th that year. "The Beast" was Swayze's final acting performance. This 3-disc DVD set contains all 13 episodes from the show's first (and only) season, plus additional behind-the-scenes featurettes. Patrick Swayze might be gone, but he left television audiences with a riveting characterization that is nothing short of brilliant. You will be totally enthralled with "The Beast". Suspect everyone, trust no one.

Swayze's ultimate TV roll
Have always thought of Patrick Swayze as a great actor and very serious. He put his all in every role he/. This series was written well, used good actors that played well with him. Very believable and up to date stories. Only his death could have cancelled this series.

The Beast TV Show DVD Set is well worth the money & time to watch
I bought this because I never had the time to watched the whole series. I think it is very good. There are a few nice twist to the regular police dramas. Patrick Swayze is very gritty and believeable. Travis Fimmel and all of the supporting cast do a great job also. There is some behind the scene info but no commentaries. All in all I'm glad I made the purchase. If you read some of the negetive reviews that show up, in my view they are just sour grapes. It was fun and exciting to watch. it's sad there weren't more.I bought this because I never had the time to watched the whole series. I think it is very good.
