Based on the MTV show of the same name, creators and coproducers Jeff Tremaine, Johnny Knoxville, and Spike Jonze stretch their surprisingly successful concept into a feature-length film. Watch cast regulars Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Bam Margera, Dave England, Ryan Dunn, Jason "Wee Man" Acuna, Preston Lacy, Ehren McGehey, and Brandon Dicamillo as they perform a series of ridiculously dangerous and dangerously stupid stunts. Entering a rental car in a crash-up derby, snorting wasabi, eating a urine-soaked snow-cone, self-inflicting paper cuts, and using a store's display toilet are just a few of the increasingly obscene antics that unfurl at a relentless pace. A large portion of the footage finds the pranksters in Japan, dressing up in outlandish outfits and wreaking havoc on the unsuspecting locals. Whether or not this is a hysterical romp or a waste of eighty minutes is for the viewer to decide, but the fact can't be argued, JACKASS: THE MOVIE is slapstick entertainment for the 21st century, incorporating the modern world's fascination with reality television and obsession with disaster into a raucous, electrifying spectacle.

Those Jackasses!
Get set for a distastefully funny, amazing show of human stupidity that pushes the limits of what should and shouldn't be seen on television! Although I thoroughly enjoyed the television show, I must say that Jackass: The Movie was a compilation like no other. I am usually a fan of watching stupid human behavior, and this is no exception. But to really appreciate Jackass: The Movie or the television show, it takes a special kind of person who is up for anything. Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Wee-Man, Raab Himself, Chris Pontius, and all the other numerous characters keep the antics coming with fast paced stupidity around every corner. From eating urine-snow-cones to snorting Wasabi, there's painful stunts for every taste. If you have a strong stomach, this movie will ... The only real complaint I must add is that there is enough video-taped puking to make your stomach turn and possibly cause you to vomit yourself. If you have a weak stomach, I can't recommend this film. But if you just want to watch other jackasses hurt themselves in stupid, yet pitifully intelligent ways, go out and rent (or buy on eBay!) the film. Laugh away your stress! And please, abide by the rules set forth at the beginning of the film: Don't try this at home... On a side note, this film is jam-packed with lots of m****rf****ng swearing, and should not be viewed by children.

Just To Funny
I seen Jackass 2 before I had seen this one, and that is why I bought this Jackass DVD, and it is just as funny as Jackass 2. I bought the first movie thinking it was just a regular movie see it was my kids wanting it but I am glad I got it now. The DVD is full of a group of guys pulling a bunch a practical jokes, and doing crazy stunts and these stunts they do are pretty crazy, and dangerous at times aslo funny. They also do some really nasty thing that could make your stomach turn so if you have a sensitive stomach them I say beware of this movie because I do have one, and had to turn my head on a couple of things because my stomach did turn but I still loved this DVD, and I laughed so hard I just about pee'd on myself. If you like seeing people doing crazy stunts, and playing crazy and ... I seen Jackass 2 before I had seen this one, and that is why I bought this Jackass DVD, and it is just as funny as Jackass 2. THEY MAKE MONEY TO DO THIS TOO THEMSELVES!
IT'S GROSS, IT'S VULGAR, IT'S JUST NASTY, THE THINGS THESE GUYS ARE WILLING TO DO, HOWEVER IT WAS VERY FUNNY AT TIMES. I CAN'T SAY I DIDN'T LIKE IT, WHILE I WOULD NEVER DO THE STUNTS THEY PULL OR KNOW ANYONE WHO WOULD, IT WAS BETTER THEN WATCHING FEAR FACTOR! THERE ARE SOME STUPID PARTS, BUT OVERALL I FEEL THE MOVIE WAS 4 STARS. IT LEAVES YOU THINKING DID THEY REALLY DO THAT, THAT'S GROSS.

Paramount Pictures should be ashamed of this product. The writers and producers are guilty of not just very poor taste, but of a lewd and vulgar script and unfit trash. If this is what certain people consider to be entertainment, then there is no wonder why this country is in the state it is in. I rated this movie with only one star; I would have given it "O" stars if that was allowable. Aside from having my commonsense and morals assaulted, I feel that individuals who produce this kind of trash should be run out of the motion picture business.Paramount Pictures should be ashamed of this product.
